guys, you got this all the wrong way round... the phoon looks good! yeah it's a big hulking hunk of junk but at least it looks reasonably solid... the tempest on the otherhand is possibly the wimpiest looking ship in the game... it looks like you could break it in half in a milisecond... i agree the mammoth looks like it should be a BS... but it should take the place of the tempest not the phoon...
You see what power is... Holding someone elses fear in your hand and showing it to them...

Tbh all the minmatar haulers looks better than both the bs.
The typhoon needs a better texture.
Tempest needs returning to scrapheap.

was very miffed it was only a hauler, still it's a good hauler, with cans i fit 20k m/3 in mine

Well I think the tempest is one of the coolest looking ships ingame. It is an original design, and has good detail in texture and modeling. So has the typhoon. Other models like the apoc etc. look unfinished in texture or model. The tempest has also a very cool command bridge. But were discussing taste 
Lets say the tempest is so ugly it's beautifull, never change it for a mammoth. Make the mammoth a point defend cruiser.

I agree. Its bizzarre that a iteron mk.I can hold over half as much as a mammoth yet only look a fraction of the size.

I like the tempest as well. Although I think it could use some structures on the lateral sections for sure...to have some decent profile.
Anyways, the new ships coming out seem to be a nice direction for CCP to go. But I really would to see them offer more choices for BS's and ships in general.
The best part of MMO's is being able to customize your stuff...beyond the weapons and other modules.
