41. Comp rebooting when near certain ships - in Issues, Workarounds & Localization [original thread]
Right have switched off the "Automatic Restart" then. I have found approaching the station in Lermivere gives a very high probability of a reboot, unless I switch to another app so Eve isn't being displayed at all on the screen during docking..

43. A tactic to be used by all you cowards out there. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: CodeFreeze on 22/06/2004 21:23:17 I couldn't be bothered to read the whole thread, but my personal take on it is it's lame to log out even when you're cornered. It spoils all the fun of the battle, and hey it's no big deal to lose a...

44. Solitaire - in EVE Fiction [original thread]
10/10, written like a pro! And interesting that the story grew by itself. You've inspired me to have a go at this technique when I've got a few hours space and am feeling creative.

46. Hands Up all in favour of leaving the devs to it - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Edited by: CodeFreeze on 22/06/2004 07:37:16 It makes me smile when I see players being pathetically grateful if a Dev should deign to reply in a thread. IRL I design complex systems for megacorps, and they expect good communication regarding...

48. Opponent logging off to save ship? - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I've lost plenty ships to pirates, killer clowns and of course corp 1 on my learning curve and never once considered loggging off, even though it meant losing valuable cargo and named items. If someone logged off in a PvP situation I would consid...

49. got my first kill! - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
I got my first kill a few weeks back. He was in a frigate stationed in 0.4 by a gate, and a red blink showed up next to him so I knew he wasn't exactly snow-white. And since it was just a frig I figured he wouldn't be that bothered really. So I l...

57. new corp of ore theives - in Crime and Punishment [original thread]
Ore theft has to be about the dullest occupation in this game. Thus it marks you out as rather sad. I do admire Vogon though, the only gamer to carry out ore theft with aplomb and humour.
