i believe that the reason that being able to transport other players was taken out was along the lines of problems relating to if the character of the ship carrying the passenger logged off with the other guy onboard

from experience i know that an iteron V with 5x alpha cargo expanders can just about fit in a repackaged kestrel, 19k cargo space used out of 20 ;) would be nice to be able to move other ships about easier Deros

basically it depends how you look at indy's nowadays. i mean sure they had advantages before, and they have some now as well, but the disadvantages now hurt more: Originally: Iteron V, 5AB, 600m/s, 10k Cargo space or, 5AB, 2000m/s, 2k Cargo space...

maybe a calculation could be included in order to increase the cost for a large corporation to rent office space. it gives benefits towards small corporations who should have smaller overheads in theory, whereas at the moment it is equal as well...

i can see it haveing some effect, it could be seen as a sort of "knowledge" of the systems that yout race uses within their fleet. if you were to use an alternative races ships then you could train a skill, possibly one such as "Amarr Technology"...
