The geddon is more of a PVP ship than a ratting ship... it makes a fantastic tanker or DPS ship (or both) if it is receiving cap. As said before the Apoc may be a better choice. At a pinch though, your fit can work.

I am not a miner (in eve) but if the mining yield of all 3 ships was similar, with the major differences being tank (procurer), ore capacity (retriever) and efficiency (covetor) then awesome! It would simply be a matter of choosing the right ship ...
