7. Lab slots, and why it's good that they're rare. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Tyto I know what you're thinking. "it's crazy, just a few more lab slots would solve all my problems." Here's why the numbers are limited and should stay limited. If there were a few more lab slots, or a huge number in ea...

8. Lab slots, and why it's good that they're rare. - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Makhar If there were more lab slots available then it would have a knock-on effect on the economy. The cost of BPs would fall, the cost of ships would then fall as everybody got really high ME levels on all their BPs. It's a...

9. Not Smart Enough To Find Labs? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Virgil Samms Surely the simplest way is to just limit the slots that a player can rent to same as the number of slots he can use at any one time. Perhaps I need enlightening, but I cannot see a valid reason, other than goug...

10. Not Smart Enough To Find Labs? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Rarium Marabeth: They are limited and need to be limited in the amount of number they have in play for a very good reason. If there was an infinite number of slots, the value of BPc's would be negligible, which then would di...

11. Not Smart Enough To Find Labs? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
Originally by: Orion Shurtak Research slots can be found in empire space if you use team work. I needed 6 slots for my corp so I had all players check a station for free spots whenever they would stop in one that had that facility. It took...

12. Not Smart Enough To Find Labs? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
There is no need to limit lab slots if CCP just code the lab screen so that you can only see your labs and those that aren't rented. That way they could add lab slots whenever they are needed without giving us a four mile list to search as well)....

13. Not Smart Enough To Find Labs? - in Science and Industry [original thread]
The "there are labs out there you lazy git" answer is silly and insulting. Yes there may be labs out there, but are the labs in an area people want to use? Before work got heavy for me I had 4 lab slots, I now have none because they unrent if you...

17. Buyers Need A Price Warning Too - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I'd like to see that as well. I have accidently bought items at a silly price through inattention, or not looking exactly where the decimal point is. I don't think it is a scam as such, but it would be nice to protect me from myself now and again...
