1. Caldari, not that great. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Wrayeth Personally, I think the character creation process should include an analysis of what each race's ships are intended to be good at. Excellent idea there Wray.

2. Caldari ships and their philosophy of combat - need some advices - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
You ask "how to fight Caldari", but you seem to have an excellent grasp of it already. Teamwork. Caldari work together, their unity is their strength. It's a beautiful thing really, as their combat philosophy is so fitting to what the Caldari pe...

4. Why Titans are going to kill Eve - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: welsh wizard Lol, if you factor in warp outs and general ship annihilation in the course of a fight you're going to need about 500+ tackling ships (obviously a wild estimate) to permanently keep 100 strength on a Titan. Thin...

6. Fixing logistics - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Logistics already work pretty damn well in small gang engagements. They're currently worthless for fleet warfare though. I'd suggest a new type of Logistics that's specifically suited for fleets, with something along the lines of what you're sugge...

7. Why Titans are going to kill Eve - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Imvho, if a Titan is going to be able to be scrambled, it should have a warp core strength around 100 or so. 10, 20, 30...that's practically nothing. At 30 strength, 3xScrambling Scorps can hold it down. Sure they'll get primaried for doing that...

9. In-Depth: The Javelin Torpedo and how you can win 100m ISK + a Cookie - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Not flaming here, honest question, do you understand how explosion velocity works? If something is going 2km/s, my Javelin torps will do 25% damage. Factor in signature radius damage reduction if it's afterburning and I'm failing to see what poin...

11. In-Depth: The Javelin Torpedo and how you can win 100m ISK + a Cookie - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
On Number 3 and 4: These two differences also, on paper, give you the impression that a Javelin Torpedo in fact does have a role. However, once again, in practical terms this is simply not the case. Some argue that the Javelin Torpedo serves a...

12. In-Depth: The Javelin Torpedo and how you can win 100m ISK + a Cookie - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Inspired by other threads recently addressing the issue as part of a larger one I've decided to start my own thread more specifically focused on these things. The question and topic which I want people to answer/stay adhered to is: Javelin Torp...

Edited by: Nooey on 14/02/2007 12:08:51 If you want my opinion, they should be what they used to be, minus the godly damage. That is to say, the ammunition a Torp Raven uses when surrounded by things smaller than a Battleship. As it stands n...
