2. When will EVE Online get a 64 bit client? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Posting in a thread where people clearly do not understand the concepts behind memory addressing. Devs have proven cautious about client changes that force hardware updates, and for a game with such a long lifespan this is certainly the best cour...

3. why have system gates? Technical (server side) issue or just legacy "we tho... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
System gates exist in EvE to create transportation choke-points that force opportunities for interaction and PvP.

4. Exactly, why is this launcher supposed to be better? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Hate entering in credentials, hitting enter, then still having to click another button to get the client to actually start up. I know it's a pretty small thing to gripe about, but little stuff like that is why this feels like a step backwards.

6. Attribute Implants - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
You should go ahead and make the jump OP. You should never get podded in lowsec. When your ship starts to blow up spam warp to a celestial. Pods warp instantly, and there are no bubbles in low to keep you from warping. You'll be fine.

8. Odyssey and the New Scanning System - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Sounds like a good change to me. The only place where your "skill" with probing really makes a damn bit of difference is scanning down other players. Making it (ever so slightly)faster to scan other players is going to equate to more scan attempts...

10. The solution to hiding from war in NPC corps? You decide. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I don't support forcing NPC corps into wardecs against other players, but I do support them being KOS in the enemy SOV space. People flying for Aliastra should not be welcome in Amarr or Caldari space. People flying for Ishukone should not be welc...

13. Dear CCP , web "exploid". - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Oh god, the pain, the PAIN!!!! Just change warp cancelling to be possible even if the ship is going faster than its top speed. This keeps webs useful for killing people in normal circumstances but removes the stunlock from undocking ships.

I agree with many of your points. Monetary inflation is a big problem for the game. However, I think skillpoint inflation is less of a problem than many people think. It's not just about getting into the biggest shiny. I am a carrier pilot, galle...
