1. taranis VS NPC BS.s - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Taking on BSes in a taranis are pretty easy. If they don't fire missiles, you can kill them pretty easily. Just be careful of the interceptor spawns - there are (have not played in 3 weeks) a lot of Cruiser / BS spawns and you can take them down ...

I don't see an alternative for handling abnormal disconnects (as someone previously said - power failure, network failure, etc) It seems that your opponent used the rules of the game to his advantage. Full kudos to him.
