I would be ok with a long-cycle-time combat probe that gives results on cloaked ships. But by long time I mean something like 10 minutes base, not 60 seconds or some other nonsense. This would at least put the prober on grid with the cloaked ship....

Unfortunately, the base range of the longest range heavy missiles (Caldari Navy) is half of long range rail ammo (Spike) loaded into 250mm Rails. So a range reduction would be absolutely unacceptable.
