2. Some love for the Amarr, new Dev Blog by Zulupark - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Let's play out a chain of logic. Minmatar outdamage Amarr because, due to the wide use of omni-tanking setups, explosive damage is on the whole more effective than EM damage. We will reduce EM resists on armor in order to increase the effectivne...

3. [Boost patch]Anti-interceptor weapons - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
It's funny to see people suggest that a heavy neut on a BS is a counter to an interceptor. My Ares can orbit and hold a point 3 km beyond heavy neut range, while running a cap surplus, and going around 10 km/s. A solo battleship is really not go...

4. Cov-Ops needs balancing - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
I trained for the helios because I had thought that an extra med would have been more useful than an extra high on a covert ops. Well, I was wrong because 1) I lack the CPU to fit anything there at covops 4, and 2) since the RSD nerf I can't think...

5. Why does it look like the Nighthawk and Drake are equal? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Hi, If it requires a 2-page thread with back-and-forth arguments to establish that probably the NH is better than the drake, then that's completely absurd and the balance is off between those two ships. For example, if a similar thread were crea...

7. Committing to Combat - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Here's what I would like to see: 0.0 alliances being able to respond to aggressors in their High-sovereignty systems in the same way that Concord responds to aggressors in 1.0 space. Concord doesn't have to probe you out or hope you aren't cloake...

9. Please help raven shot down - what is scrabling me!!! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I've had the exact same problem in the past, because being colorblind it is not possible for me to see the warp scrambling effect. :( The EVE UI is really poor. Would it be so hard to put some persistent textual indicator on the screen indicating...

Edited by: Tessikhet on 16/12/2007 21:56:23 I didn't include the time to train science to 5 as that's useful for cybernetics. The only things I had to train that I would not have otherwise trained where Mech Eng to 4, Research to 5, Lab Ops t...

17. Locked Targets In The Overview: Red/Green Colorblind Issue - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Unfortunately there are other ways that color comes into play in the game that aren't user-configurable. For example, whatever color the warp disruptor effect is, that's totally invisible to me. I cannot physically see the effect.

Edited by: Tessikhet on 15/12/2007 20:27:11 Datacores are the only form of passive income that is available to non-traders. The costs to set the machine in motion is like one week of mission running, two weeks of skill grinding, and then it's ...

19. Who would win in a Faction War? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Winner would be Minmatar. Because in order to combat their speed-tanked ships, you have to buy their recons or EAFs. It's win-win for them.

20. Any hope for support ships in fleet battles? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It seems like the only ships that get to play the fleet warfare game are sniper BS, dictor, and cap/super-cap. Logistics? You would have been more useful bringing a sniper BS. Tackler? See above. Ewar? See above. Anti-support (HAC/BC/dessy)? The ...
