3. Sticky:[Crius] Manufacturing feedback - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
If you're the UI designer and get upset when people criticise your work, it only means you care about it, so it's all good. With that in mind and after playing around with the UI on SiSi a little yesterday, I'd like to offer some criticisms...

4. Second time this has happened: losing blueprint after delivery. - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Twice now I've had blueprints that were in research dissapear when I click the deliver button. The circumstances are interesting however, given that on both occassions, I was not in a ship at the time (or even a pod): (1) Clone jump to the stati...

Apologies if this has already been covered, but faced today with the prospect of updating standing to over 100 corp, I felt myself losing the will to live. Surely, it would be a relatively simple matter to allow an alliance or corp (for example),...

8. Station Containers in Station Warehouse... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Originally by: Tsavong Lah Agreed, it's a pain trying to organise everything. And it's annoying having to "select all->unlock item" too. I don't see what the big deal is about not letting us nest warehouses & station containers tbh - i...

9. EVE on linux? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Put it this way, CCP would need to manage this in the right way. You don't need to say "open-source the whole client", you can, say, publish requirements contracts for certain groups of modules within the game. The UI for instance, or the gfx engi...

Edited by: babyblue on 26/01/2004 16:23:07 Get a brain yourself matey. Just because its "open source", doesn't mean that it has to contain cheats/hacks. The Linux Kernel itself has many, many people submitting code for it but only a few people...

11. EVE on linux? - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Please, the Eve client isn't running exclusively on Python (stackless or not). All "behaviours" are implemented using stackless, but the core is C++. btw - if they made the client codebase open source, you'd see a linux version in no-time.

14. Can you get rid of this message, or at least..... - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
This message is so annoying, as it pops up a messagebox with an "ok" button on it. Would be much better without the button, as it is information. This happens quite frequently when you change ships quickly dock/undock etc. Would be better to disp...

15. Overtakeable stations = WRONG - in Test Server Feedback [original thread]
Why not allow cloaking of the POS for when the players are offline. The cloaking mechanics would cost you in minerals however - so to cloak for 12 hours would be quite expensive.

I feel the programmer would find a lot of pain and sufferring relating to the algorithm to find a decent spot to warp in. But then again, in the vastness of space, I don't think it would be too much of a problem to check the location and bounding...
