Hi there, I have a HUGE problem with the upgrade, I have a mac and the upgrade is 2gb+ I'm working in Cyprus ATM and the internet connection I use is flaky and VERY slow 14-2o kps if that, I can use a bar that has better download speed (214) but my battery won't last that long, any suggestions?[/black]

i get no warp animation, and my jump animation turns my ship into a crystal =/
And it did the same thing on SISI after the last sisi patch.
And now its doing it on Tranq.

Seriously.. Who's idea was it to have the sound fade out at HALF max zoom from your ship?
First of all it should NEVER fade out, just muffle slightly, secondly how fun is it to only hear your own lasers in a huge battle vs 20 npcs?
I didnt buy a 128 sound-channel sound card to hear 3 channels, my own weapons / engines / targeting sound.
Thirdly how fun is it to not even be able to hear other player ships or even gatejumps, or even WARP-SOUNDS due to being 1km away?
Fix this now. I play with sound because im not pretending to be hardcore by turning it off.
I play all games with sound, im a soundoholic and sound means just as much as visuals to me.
Also:
Flickering white orbs in asteroid fields. As seen below.. Anyone else got that?
Tried two different drivers, 181.00 and the very latest from nvidia (non-beta).
I think this is the same bug as on SISI that was tied into Blooom, but really, fix plz, cant even mine or rat like this since it causes crashes occationally (at least it did on SISI) :)

No sound or graphic issues here whatsoever. I haven't any negative feedback yet actually. Things are running really well here and I'm quite impressed. An alliance mate has already found a wormhole as well.

Eve wont allow me to log into the actual game itself. I get a multi colored screen upon start up of the client. There i have to alt tap in and out to get the sign in screen to show up. From there i move to character selection. No problems ocurred there. After that as i try to log into the station im currently at my client shuts down

- If you select low quality shaders you are unable to see edge of the interdictor sphere and mobile warp disruptor(anchored) bubbles as they do not have any kind of bubble shader effect. All you see is the shimmering effect. It is impossible to see where the end of a bubble ends or how big the bubble is if you use the low quality shader setting. Please add some kind of basic shader, anything for the bubbles for the low quality shader setting.

for all people complaining about wierd warp animations and basicly other 'crap' looking animations, before you post complaining... turn up your shader model quality in the graphics settings. Its a very normal and built in aspect of the shader quality... There is a big difference in the quality of effects depending on how high (or low) you have you shader quality setting.
*psycho Nomad wishes people would actually do a little bit of basic lateral thinking before they flame the game designers.

Wah, effects of large autocannons and artillery just sucks. Before apocrypha artillery made a nice "kachong" with a big tracerbullet coming out. Not there is just a bit smoke in front of the gun with "pfff" sound. This is definatly worse then before.

unless your company will refund my hardware upgrades neccecairy to run eve at al. We are not all fortunate ppl who can spend hundreds euro's on hardware.
i can not play but have just payed my 3 month subcription, i want my mony back.

This feels as one of the better patches so far, good work CCP!
I do have one request.
The in-station environment is too loud when compared to other "World Level" effects. I have several alts, and there is always someone in a station somewhere, and the sound of other accounts is completely overshadowed by the account which is docked.
Please add a slider to adjust the in-station environmental sounds or re-introcude the option to disable the in-station evironment completely.

I think the CCP team has been watching too much Stargate. The new gate jumping sounds is really terrible compared to the old one. Also, I kind of miss the bumpy ride effect when you drop out of warp.

Hi!
After I succesfully applied the patch, here are some problems I've encountered:
1. No assets shown on the SOLAR SYSTEM tab of Personal Assets (I'm in the same system my assets are);
BTW, other tabs showing my assets properly.
2. Hate that crystal-like ship too. But more than that I hate that ship is still visible even after hyperjump animation (*for 2-3 secs).
3. Placing 3-4 skills in queue doesn't work for some reason. After completing first of them, training turns on pause...
(Yeah, I hit the Apply button after placing the skills in queue).

Yea, yea, EVE has sound, etc etc.
But seriously, before the Apo patch, I had perfect sound in EVE (when I had it turned on when I wasn't in a fleet) that sounded great and worked pretty well on my 5.1 surround. However, post Apo patch I notice that Aura's voice is confined to my right front speaker, the UI sounds don't come through AT ALL even with them cranked to max, and I'm limited in Eve total to just the front speakers. To say nothing of diminished game volume.....
Please put the old audio engine back in for the client. It worked (if not perfectly) pretty damn good. This new one is NOT a step forward, it's now a step back. Sadly, I've even turned off my sound for when I'm sitting in a station because the station sounds are too loud.

Where goes the option "Show Station Environnement at dock" or whatever the name ? (it helped to reduce FPS consumption, specialy with multi-accounts, as stations hate all computer power I can give).
Personal Appreciation : The fitting window is absolutely horrible...  Horrible to see, and horrible to use. Informations are scattered in all the window (cargo at bottom left, others at bottom right, etc...), and the 3D view take too much space. Definitively, must be redone.

Why is the new warp effect a mix of a cheesy water effect and pixels, that gets vomited on my screen, and why can't I turn off that horrible monstrosity? I tried to turn off all effects, but the thing refuses to go away. I'd rather have nothing, then look at that thing all day. Please consider taking it behind the shed and put it out of its misery.

Is there anyway to don load the full client so I can put it on DVD for my friends which does not have download capabilities. I'm talking of over 15 ppl that IS NOT ABLE to play EVE because of the autopatcher crap . . .

i dont know what you did to the audio but it sounds awful! its like the quality has been lowered to some ancient bitrate.
the sound is dull and muffled , the acceleration gates are really loud, much louder than the rest of the ui, turret sounds can only be heard if i zoom right in on my ship and explosions are quiet and more of a popping sound.
i even checked all of the codecs on my computer to make sure i didnt have any dodgy ffdshow type codecs messing up the sound!
