Seleene hit the nail on the head. I personally joined JF after most of the precursor events took place with regard to the current mess. I stayed up until 2.30 am reading all the stuff Jade linked to and all the stuff Cao Cao has presented.

As a potted history, i'd recommend anyone who is interested to take time out and read it.

Nice work to those responsible.

Well I admit that except for Halseths trolling it's a nice addition to the EVE HISTORY project which lurks unseen.

Check the two last links in my sig for that.

This is some excellent stuff. I would like to have the mod's remove the totally unresponsive comments made by Halseth and a few others, and would like to thank all involved in this progressive display.

Are there any other stories that need to be told?

Xif?
A Really indepth CA or SA post?
FA?
Unicor?
NCA as a whole?

Specific corps of note?

Black Omega
Celestial Apocaplyse
Cyberdyne
Evolution
Legion of the Dammed
MASS
mOo
RKK
RONA
Venture Corp
VOTF
Xanadu

any others???

I'd be interested in the Unicor point of view, I found it interesting in another thread where TPS were asking Unicor guys where we were when their particular war was being waged, Venal/Branch of course but that's by the by.

So far all this is top stuff.

I did write a big post on FA some time ago, check out this copy of it on EVE Guardian. I'll dig up the actual thread (which had more information from others) when I get home.

From that posting several topics about capturing the history of EVE came up. Check out the 2 last links in my signature for that.

Most people miss the early days of the CA out and some of the corps involved have long been gone. CA became famous when sinister came back to curse for defence. In reality it had been around months before that.

It first formed with a bunch of corps who had moved into curse in the first few weeks of eve the Dark Empire being once of the first i recall. Within weeks more had joined up one of these being sinister at this time an average corp not pirates and not well known. We had pirate slike m0o come to curse but we managed to fend them off and at this time very few had battleships we only just started to see a few m0o members in dominix and RUS in armas.

One day votf got tangled in fighting 2 m0o domonix with our few cruisers at the time RUS showed up and killed all a few of our guys included. After talks though it was clear we had mutual enemy and RUS became more of a friend to votf and CA corps. Weeks later More bs are starting to show up and sinister had its first scorp and soon a few more. From our point of view its when they changed into a pirate corp and they left curse to play with m0o and other people outside of our region.

In this time most of CA were building up but we still lacked battleships. The odd sinister scorp floated around Curse and they started demanding money from corps like someone already mentioned. They claimed it was protection money either way the only thing they recieved from most was fired from cruiser turrets.

Then one incident happend a SA/MASS member decided to fire on a votf member in an indy, probably one of the most influencial attacks in eve though it probably seemed small to the guy shooting and just a bit of fun right? lol I don't remember the SA pilots name but now everyone knows the indy pilots name.

Needless to say that sparked a fire in the indy pilot and that pilot sparked a fire in alot more people within days the CA vs SA had started to kick off and SA claimed CA were pirates and its true their were a couple of pirate corps in CA at the time but none that were big and certainly not votf we had very few members and were mianly mining to save up for BS. Their reason was further fueled though with the return of sinister to Curse and CA under a friendly flag.

By this time alot of the corps in Curse had changed and Sinister had to. Alot of non CA corps in Curse which CA didnt touch because we werent a big alliance then decided they would rather side with the big boys who were trying to move in. Wether the first shots were fired with words or from ships civil war broke out in curse and the main CA was fighting SA and other rag tag Curse alliances siding with SA.

With the game mechanics at the time it was very much a "camp the jump in point" series of battles mainly taken place in curse space with us being smaller and many ships were lost and much fun had on both sides.

The conflict obviously continued and most people have picked up on the history that followed.

RUS has a big role in this too.
Very early, RUS attacked SA. Something they couldn't keep up. So after a while they moved up to the north where they became friends with SINC/m0o, their former enemies, who had also moved north.

This is also where FA comes into it. RUS/SINC/m0o + various smaller pirate corps attacked FA in the north, and at the same time SA were travelling all across the galaxy to fight RUS up there. After a while these corps got big problems to keep up their business.

As said, there were also trouble brewing in Curse meanwhile, with SA and various other corps hunting some small pirate corps. Some of the non-pirate locals (such as VoTF) were working very close with these.

So, the situation then was that SA and the very small CA were negotiating about the situation in Curse, and SINC/RUS (who had earlier been in Curse) had problems in the north.

And what happened was that SINC/RUS moved back to Curse and joined what had been a very small alliance. Many of the neutral corps in Curse saw it best to also join in. And hence a new big CA was formed. An alliance that from it's foundation already were in war with both SA and FA.

*IMPORTANT NOTE*
At this time, Evolution were the major PvP corp in FA, and it was mostly them that joined in the fighting in Curse when the new CA was formed (as well as Doped Players Inc who later merged with Evol, and Xanadu). Evol some months later left FA. And even later, they kinda in a RUS way, became good friends with m0o, their former enemy.

The NCA doesn't have a Public Relations Director or anything like that as it is simply a banner covering a bunch of people who are fighting a common enemy.

Therefore, the best you can get from the NCA is stories from each of the individual members I am afraid.

I hope everyone can continue in the spirit that this thread has began with and continue to tell their story about the war they are currently involved in.

I for one am loving it.

I had planned on writting a chronological order of events just like everyone else, but then I read Inkzs version and came to the conclusion that I dont really need to bore everyone with an exact copy of his account. He said it as well as I could and as accurately as I recall.

There is a major misconception I see from many people opposed to the PA here in this thread. I would very much like to address it, but dont want to be considered trolling or somehow diluting the quality writing shown all ready in this thread. So, may I address this issue? It's up to you.

Also I would like to appologise to the comedicly-challenged people that were offended by the witty exchanges between Tatsue and myself. I understand that the week minded are conditioned to cry "TROLL!!!" whenever they see my name.
