You're already the man in my eyes :) if it's that complicated then meh, it's only a very very minor thing anyways. The API system is usually up, and I'm using your app now to follow a very lengthy training regime for my alt. It has a special place on my dock right next to the Eve launcher :D

I have MacEveApi running on an intel iMac with snow-leopard, and on an old PPC iBook G4 with leopard. The app works great on both except that on the PPC the info windows do not show up for ships, skills still pop-up.
Is this an OS specific difference or perhaps the code for the ship info-windows doesn't like the old PPC processors...?

I stopped development on the old leopard version months ago. That version never had a ship details window. You can drag the ship into the plan though. I'm only releasing new versions for snow leopard now. Anyone is welcome to get the source and try to build a leopard version though.
By the way, I've fixed the bug where skill completion progress would get set to 0% when you paused and changed skills.

I'd really like to see some kind of attribute optimizer on selected training plans so you can plan an attribute remap. Thanks for the continued development of this application Flammard, I use this program everyday.

Man oh man I second that. An attribute optimizer would be awesome. I love how fast and lightweight this program is compared to it's PC counterpart. I still keep going back to my broken down HP laptop when it comes time to finalize another year plan for a character though. With or without it though this thing is still a fantastic program.

Hi, its me, Cyllena :)
I have reinstalled OS X and downloaded the version from the first post. Thats an older version so I have to update. If I update the app the updater download the new version and ask to install the new version. Then there is an error: "An error occured while installingthe update. Please try again later."
why this is so? The update ist about 1 mb.

Are you sure? http://www.mtyson.id.au/MacEveApi/Mac%20Eve%20Tools.dmg links to the correct version (16.7) which is the latest version. When I download that and try to update it says I already have the latest version.

No, I don't think it is possible to force the app to German.
When MacOS starts the program it will try and use the current system language if that is available. If it is not it will keep trying languages until it finds a language the app supports.
If the current system language is English then that's what you get.
It's an automatic process done by MacOS when you start any program. It's not something I have control over. It *MAY* be possible to override this, but at the moment I don't know if it can be done.

Its no problem for me :) For translation work I can change the system language back to german.
There are more important things to do then force translation. Like to see an attribut modificator, 100% bonus and the calculating of the impact of the skills for the following skills.
I hope you can understand my post :-P

I asked a question a while ago, didn't see a reply yet, so here it is again: It might have been that I missed something, but did you remove the importing and exporting of skill plans? I use this option quite often, and suddenly it was gone.

Behavior question:
I took advantage of a character portrait swap, having made my character without knowing how bad it would look real tiny in-game. Whatever.
How do I get the app to replace my old portrait? Do I have to delete the character and re-create it? or is there a portrait in a preference folder I can throw out?

I have kind of this problem. My main works fine, however, my alt still shows the big exclamation mark as a portrait. Tried to throw it out, restart the app and set it back up, doesn't work |

Ok, time for a new test release.
This one addresses some common complaints.
You can now update your character portrait by right clicking on the picture.
There is an attribute calculator in the skill planner, it will allow you to see the effects of changing your attributes. It doesn't do remap optimisation though.
Evemon plans can now be imported. Both formats (.emp and .xml) are supported. The menu will only appear when the skill planner sheet is active.
The skill plans once again take into account learning skills when performing calculations (I broke this in the 16.7 release)
Linkage
I'll release this through the auto updater in the next few days, barring any major bugs.
Also, Unless people are really hung up on attribute and remap optimisation I think I'm getting pretty close to done on the skill planner. I could start looking at doing a ship fitting tool. It's a big project so it will be a long way off if / when I start doing it.

Attribute remap/optimalization would be nice but isn't a must from my POV. Would be nice, but since you only have 1 remap a year (or 2 for a new player) it isn't super important.
I'd love to see the ship fitting tool, have been looking out for a decent one for a while :)

IMO, you should put your effort on the fitting tool, which is much more needed than optimizer and what not. Once the fitting tool is on rails, you can come back to perfect other things, and maybe ask for some help along the way.
FYI, I'd be willing to pay a small contribution (not ISK, but $) for this great tool. Your efforts, although very appreciated, shouldn't remain unrewarded (other than fame, that is).
(Also, a name and a cool icon would be sweet)

Have tested the remapper and found a small thing, that can be better :) There are no limit for the attribute points. I dont know, what constellation can be done because i can spend much more points then the game allows. It would be nice, if I can only spend that amount of attribute points, what i can spend in the game.

I just downloaded the testversion, runs fine and I finally have my second account portrait in there. Tried importing evemon skillplan, says it can't read it. I imported it before on my mains account and worked brilliantly then.
message is: Error importing plan The plan couldn't be understood Or there where no skills to import
Tried a few different plans, willing to share if that helps

Big problem I just noticed. In the new version, when I am setting up a skill plan, the training times don't adjust for learning of new learning skills. That is to say when I put a new level of Empathy before learning a skill that benefits from Charisma, the training time for that skill isn't reduced. Does this make any sense?

Yes it used to update the training times based on if a learning skill was in the training plan or not. Whether this was intentional or not I am not sure since I have only used this software for about a month. If it was intentional, I would love to see it fixed, it not...please implement it.

Blasphemour: EVEMon has changed the format of the plan file. I rewrote the importer to use the new format. If you email me your old plan file so I have something to test with I'll see if I can support both old and new formats.
eXeler0n: It's not meant to be a full blown attribute optimiser, however I should be able to modify it to show you how many points you have to spend.
