Ok so ive deleted and reinstalled eve like 4 times now and i still cant log in. The launcher works just fine, even shows how many people are online but when i hit play, the window comes up to put in my information and the server status says unknown...wtf i can play it at my buds, even my girlfriends crappy computer plays it just fine, i dont get it...... |

I put this in the other Inferno thread, on page 38 (#718Posted: 2012.05.24 01:27), but my post got lost in a sea of UI complaints.
Let's try again.
I was doing my resculpt the other night when I got a five minute warning for downtime (not the usual daily down time, I would have been prepared for that, I thought I had hours left), but due to lag (which I had never seen before Inferno, but that's another story) I was unable to finish before I had to log off.
I would like to know if there is any way I can get back in to finish making my character look a bit more believably human, please.
Her cheekbones and mouth are completely not what I was aiming for, I did try to get it done but resculpting a face with 5 minutes to do it and lag making it hard to actually make any changes is not easy.
All I want to do is finish what I started and make her look less fake. |

The Corporation icon that appears on the Neocom ..when I remove it, it reappears on the Neocom when I next log on.

also new inventory sucks also put up a list of known reported issues at the front of the thread, i can't be arsed to read all the posts

Hmmm i play clicky clicky for 20 mins to get ship fitted. Go run a mish and then dock. Now have to wait 5 minutes for corp hanger to open, then anothr 20 minutes clicky clicky to sort out loot and load more ammo. go run another mish and then rinse and repeat over and F****** over.  windows never stay where they are put. Have to re-sort out corp hanger every time ( i like mine sorted by type ) Give us the old way or at least the option of which UI we want to use. The new UI needs to die a quick DEATH.
Ohh and my 16 month old baby wants to know if he can get a job at CCP programming patches/expansions for you

Every time I log in I crash after 2-3 minutes, and get a 'Socket Closed' message.
Before Inferno that happened maybe once a week. This is intolerable and as a consequence I will unsub 2 accounts.

Just based on my own experience of having a number of ships and quite a few items in my items hangar, merely accessing those two sections of my inventory is requiring a wait of approximately twenty to thirty seconds every time I dock; furthermore, accessing any of the considerable number of BPOs, BPCs, minerals, and various other necessary stuff in the corp hangar is requiring an additional wait of approximately fifty to sixty seconds every time I dock. This is an unacceptable level of performance.
If the wait time to initially load the inventory cannot be reduced, can the items at least be cached across session changes so as to prevent having to repeatedly suffer this approximately sixty- to ninety-second wait after every session change?

Please I hope the devs read this. I used to play eve on full max settings about a month ago and ran everything smoothly. I was playing around with settings and realized it was the shader that cannot be turned off...I had to put it on 'low'. Is there any way I can switch this off because it's lagging my game and making me frustrated...
Anyone else having the same problem? Will CCP implement a change where I can switch off the shader? Thanks. |

I have some Issues with the new rocket animations.
I can't see any of them in game. I tryed all graphic options but nothing changed. When I launch some rockets, I only see a little smoke animation directly by my ship but the animation of the flying rocket is missing.
Maybe my hardware is to old for the new feature. I currently use a Radeon X1900 Series (ca. 7 years old) and WIn XP with Direct-X 9.0c. |

On the Mac client, shift-click to open my cargo in a separate window does not work.
Shift-click on the cargo icon opens the unified inventory window. A second shift-click now opens the cargo in its own window. A third click on the cargo icon closes the univentory.
Three clicks to open my cargo in a window that isn't too big or too far away from my modules for a simple change of ammunition is hardly an improvement. I am hoping this is a bug that can be fixed. |

Mac client.
Hard crashes occasionally. The whole interface just stops responding.
Activated the cloak in my Widow. I couldn't deactivate the cloak, because my cloaking device was interfering with my systems. F1 didn't work. Other function keys worked. Didn't care to click to turn it off, because who uses the mouse for that? |

Cannot load my inventory at ALL.
Basically, before inferno, everything (for the most part, in regards to this issue anyhow) was working fine, I had access to some of the corp hangars, view in some, take in some, neither view nor take in others. However, now, when I open up my inventory (through the unified system, is there any other way?) and try to run a blueprint job or a build job through the corporate hangars, I cannot even load the ones I have access to, or bring up the list of various hangar tabs, as it flat out refuses me to view any of them on account that "23:40:00 Info You have been denied access for the following reason: You require take access to open the container requested."
Furthermore, once trying to view the corp hangars, closing the inventory, then all future times I try to open it within the same login session, I simply get a black screen that never loads either side of the inventory, telling me I don't have take access, but now, this time, because I cant view the list of corp hangars, I can't load my personal belongs and ships in the station either. Great job CCP, can't access my personal hangar because I dont have take access to ALL corp hangars. Nice bug. |

shhh... with the current layout, technically, the executioner have 2.5 turrets? so, does the specs reflect such? i.e. 50% +bonus to one turret?    |

My stuffz has gone!
In my home system, in teh station all i can see is anything moved to there in the last few hours. So basically all my items and all my ships there have disappeared. I can see that they're still there when i look for them using the assets tab but when i'm docked there they don't appear in my Ships or Items hangars.
Cleared cache, no joy.
I'm sad right now :( |

Since the patch I and my friends have experienced modules that wont turn off. One day it was a siege module, the next it was armor repper and guns. I am able to take them offline to stop them but this would be fatal in any but the calmest of scenarios.

Ok. So I gave it 5 days now. Seeing that CCP said that it might be that we not use to the new UI system.
Well 5 days should have been enough and I actually changed my original opinion of the UI. I changed from it sucks to ITS F`ed UP!!!!!!!
Here is my 5 cents worth. Microsoft is known to release crappy software filled with bugs and stuff people dont want nor need. But even Microsoft realised that people arent happy and they started giving people choices. Even with Windows 7 you can change back to the old classic view. Now my thoughts on this is why can Microsoft get this through their thick skull but CCP, whom have been warned on their test server by people playing the game day in day out, just dont grasp the concept that they are F`en stupid. How difficult can it be to implament a choice between the two UI systems.
CCP is quick to say that the players own EVE. Where did that opinion go? Honestly.... I had more fun playing BF3 or MW2 online, as braindead as it may be. Atleast their I can do the stuff I want without battling with systems that makes no sense at all.
A clever man is not clever because he knows how to fix stuff. He is clever because he knows how to prevent it from needing repairs.
I`ll give it another months. If we dont have the old UI back or atleast givin a choice I will move over to Mechwarrior online till something else comes my way.

Not game breaking but still an issue.
1. Agents - when a mission is offered to you (not accepted), Agent doesn't show up in other stations as 'Agents Of Interest' in Agents Tab - station services. That makes it very easy to forget about them and the mission offer.
2. Drone Bay - no option listed to open Drone Bay when right clicking active ship that's floating in docking bay. Have to open Inventory first, then select Drone Bay from the Inventory tree. Basically takes longer to change out Drones when docked.
3. Inventory - wrecks and cans should open in a seperate window. That would make it easier to do selective looting and transfer of items.
4. Salvager - noticed the salvaging beam wasn't making contact with wreck or can at various times. Beam would sometimes terminate in space off to the side of targeted item. Same thing with Analyzer and Codebreaker.
5. Sound - salvager module sound lingers for a few minutes after module is turned off.
I'm sure there's some other issues but this all I can think of right now.

I have two accounts. I get a resculpt option on one of them, but not on this account, which (sod's law) is the one I actually want to resculpt. Nothing to say "this character is flagged for resculpt", afaik it didn't have a holdover resculpt apart from the one Inferno should have allocated. |
