OK guys, you've read the comments, sighed at the bumps and are wondering; WILL IT REALLY BE FUN? Of course it will, trust me on this! Oh so you want proof do you? Well later this month we have TWO live fire training exercises. The first will be between two frigate fleets to decide who is best, DANNI or KYLIE? The second is definately not to be missed, a frigate fleet will take part in a Battleship assault mission. The BS to be piloted by our glorious CEO no less! Come on, which other corp would give you the chance to be put in a pod by your CEO? See I told you it would be fun! Join us at www.ukc-eve.net or convo me, Lady Vivienne or Deor in game.

Edited by: Narcissa on 26/04/2005 11:05:30 I have been with the UKC for a month now and I love it.
They are creating something special at the UK Corporation and have brought together many of the good things which I look for in a corp. -Active membership. They boast a very active members roster which is pruned of inactives regularly. Around 70 members in the corp and growing steadily. -UK Based. It is common to see 20-40 members online in the evenings (GMT 1900-2300) and at weekends. -Varied Communications. Voice comms (Ventrillo), busy website & forums (www.ukc-eve.net) and a lively in-game corp channel all help to keep members up to date with the latest news and events. -Organised Corp Structure. The corp charter and guidelines are well documented, the rank structure/promotion table is published and the corp's future strategy is already outlined, so each member knows what is expected of them and what their expectations of the corp should be. -Varied Operations. They cater for all playing styles at the UKC. The corp has operational divisions which cover various aspects of EVE; trade, industry, combat, agents etc.
If you are based in the UK and looking for an organised corp which is going places, check out the UKC. Contact Deor, Lady Vivienne or Liberty Red for more information.

The largest UK corp in EVE, needs fellow country men/women...
Are U in a corp with nobody online when you are ? Are U from the UK ?
Then the UKC is the right choice for U
With many active members, EVE veterans and a rapidly expanding (soon to be a mega corp at this rate) Organised structure and goals to achieve...
Its sorted, so come along and join the party

Edited by: Jonhill Gallent on 07/05/2005 12:02:13 Hi guys, thanks for checking the thread, we've been a bit quiet of late but this is due to us moving into stage 2 of our development. We are now based in low sec space and as a result are very busy making our mark and estabilishing our reputation with our new friends and enemies. As a result of this, we are looking to rapidly expand our membership but retain the quality of our recruits. We have vacancies in all departments be it mining and production, trading, freelancing or PvP (Two separate groups here, the UKC police force and the UKC navy. The PF always get their man, the navy; well you just don't want to know the the gory details!) Whatever your experience, whatever your goals, if you are a UK player check out our website, read our charter and decide; do I join the best or...? Look forward to hearing from you soon!

You guys look like an excellent, well organized corp that is the kind of organization I'm looking to join. I want to make sure that I join a corp that's right for me as well as one where I have what you're looking for. So, I have a couple of questions:
1) I see that you have an "active members" policy where you want players to log in 3-4 times per week. I travel a lot in RL, and so my EVE playing is sporadic - I'll play a lot for several days in a row, but then several weeks could pass before I can get my fix. Is there a place in UKC for me?
2) Ventrilo: is it mandatory?
3) Are you at war with anyone? I've been playing for a couple of months, don't have a ton of skillpoints and don't wanna get ganked in Empire in a corp war just yet.
4) I'm making my money by trading and hauling, but want to learn PvP too. Can you teach me to fight?
Thanks folks

Hi m8 One of our team will contact you in-game to answer these and any other questions you may have. Also, please feel free to post to our guest forum at the UKC-EVE.NET web site.
In the short term, let me answer your question about logging activity. The UKC management recognise that there are many many players that log infrequently or prefer to 'do their own thing' whilst also having somewhere to 'hang their hat' so to speak. With this in mind, the UKC is organised into several 'divisions' which are glued together to form the main corp. One of those divisions is a freelance division (UK-F). The division is geared to allow members such as yourself to come and go as you please providing that you are signed-up to our charter. There are no demands, pressures or expectations of this division but equally, there are no corporation priviledges other than being part of the UKC.
Finally, I note you spell organisation with a zee (z) - are you UK based - if not then I just wasted 10 minutes of my life replying

If you are an Ex-pirate who has repented and given up his dark ways then yes we could look at you application.
However if you are still a pirate and your heart is truly black then I don't think there would be a place for you in UKC at the moment.

I have been in the UK Corp for 5 days now. In that time i have been greatly impressed in the organisation of the corp, and also the maturity of its members in the way they play EVE.
I have not been put under any pressure to caryy out 'tasks' for the corp, indeed i have been left to find my feet and explore my new surroundings.
I would highly reccomend UK Corp as the right one to join.
See you in Corp Channel
