Ahw man, I just wanted some capships kills so we could have some less in this game
But I guess It played the PL card ( to many bubbles on grid, cant play in this lag) and a fairly new GM took a look in the protocols and just deactivated em just like they should do? Either way, bad luck, but think positive, you get the chance to kill em again

Originally by: michael boltonIII haha, ya there was totally a traitor who offlined those bubbles before downtime started, plus the used the special offlineing mode where myself and the tons of other people monitoring the bubbles couldn't see them offlineing.
I can tell you now with absolute certainty that there wasn't a traitor off-lining the bubbles, because the bubbles were anchored by me "For self" (because I didn't have roles to anchor "For corp" at the time) and as such, only I could un-anchor them. And I'm currently at work, and have been since 08:00 EVE.
The only way the bubbles could have been taken down was if they were destroyed, and considering every single member of IT + pets is camped in to the station and every single POS has several scouts sat on it, I find it very unlikely someone could have been shooting them without anyone noticing.

The bubbles were put up by multiple people in multiple corporations across several alliances. No spy, or even group of spies, could have unanchored those bubbles.
FACT: The VERY FIRST bubble that was deployed (on wednesday night) is still on station.
FACT: The POS's involved were the supercap staging towers.
FACT: IT logs in supers into what are supposed to be bubbled towers immediately after downtime, well in advance of their op.
FACT: This development directly benefits IT.
FACT: This would not be the first time that internal CCP corruption has benefitted BoBIT.

Same. The only acceptable response will be to have the GMs involved fired, and the pilots who used this exploit to escape with their ships permanently banned and all their assets deleted.
It would be unwise to do anything less.

Hi. Your elite PvP alliance is losing so badly to a bunch of noobs in Rifters and Maelstroms that you had to have CCP clear multiple corps' and alliances' bubbles around your supercapital staging POS just to avoid the humiliation of a supercapital loss.
I hope that makes you feel better.

it seems like that's what happened, since I've heard in multiple occasions where GM's removed bubbles out of a gate if they were above a certain number "because of lag".
either case, it sounds like IT cried to the GM's. ---

The interesting part here though is that there weren't a spamload of bubbles. The cages were set up properly with the minimum amount of T2 larges needed to surround the POSs (6). There's not way that can get petitioned as bubble spamming as it is the least possible amount needed. I guess we now HAVE to bubble spam in case devs accidentally some more bubbles so that we can online them quickly again no matter which corp dropped them.
In fact, maybe every corp should drop 6 bubs each. Just in case.
(inb4 someone posts about the 100+ bubbles of varying sizes IT dropped on a gate when their foe was readying to jump in. GM's went in and reluctantly removed less than half of those.)

What would CCP even do about this if they were at fault? Move those titans back to a POS that now only exists as trace elements and vapour?

Well since the accounts involved would have been exploiting with a GM's help then they should be permanently banned, as per CCP's rules. I would hope the GMs would be fired, and have it done today to show that CCP still has confidence in their company and as a show of good faith to the community.
Ah who are we kidding? It was probably a CCP Dev that emailed a GM to take down the bubbles so he could get his Titan out.

If they can't return them to their previous log-off position in space, then they should put them docked up in the station, supercap or not.

Ah who are we kidding? It was probably a CCP Dev that emailed a GM to take down the bubbles so he could get his Titan out. You know it would really suck to be a GM right now. CCP isn't going to fire say their lead animator or script writer. You know if it was one of them they'll just pick a GM's name out of a hat, say it was him, and throw that employee to the wolves.
