Actually there was one time when CCP gave out 100k SP, around the time they gave the primae as a gift, and something had gone seriously wrong, so that the DT was like 36h if I remember right... so I doubt they will give out SP for this.
it was 900k sp i believe
you might be thinking of the time when they removed the learning skills and refunded the SP you had invested in them.
100k SP is from earlier.

I really dont know why they ever bother saying 15:00 as a time, I dont remember a time when they patched that it has Ever been 15:00 Its always more likely 18:00 or later
Tho really they may as well just post EvE will be Offline on the 6th April from 11am till April 7th

CCP reports reason for delay is becuase they are laughign there asses off at the wall of humor rather than focusing on the patch :) lets all be quiet for 1 hour and let them report on this thread as intended haha what a perfect world

I agree. I dont have 8 accounts, but I do like the idea of having the next patch right in the middle of US peak. That or let aussie players train 1.01 times faster than everyone else...
sigh, if the American on JST is not complaining, then there is something wrong with your outlook. I've played FFXI for almost 4 years now while living on EST and dealing with downtimes during peak US time or updates that took forever to download and god knows what else and didnt complain once. Servers need to be fixed from time to time, new content gets added from time to time. Devs are human, they make mistakes, errors happen, blah blah blah. Take a deep breathe, relax and try to find something to occupy the extra time. I for one am watching Doctor Who (old series eps), while checking for updates on the situation.

CCP, as you don't seem able to stick to extended downtime schedules, why don't you just double your woefully overoptimistic estimates? Had you said downtime would be 12 hours, we wouldn't be here complaining that Tranquility is up 3 hours early. Just a thought.

Ok CCP you have seriously dropped the ball on this one. Remember a few month back when you actually kept us updated by updating the Page 1 posting about the patch??? Remember how much smoother things went, and how much more grateful all of us pilots were???? What happened to that this time??? Here we are at 1600 now, the game client says that ETA on server up time is 1800, the first posting by CCP Zymurgist still says 1500, and the downloads page STILL isn't updated with the patch or the full install client... Why can't you learn from your successes and keep us informed, and make sure that both in game and the patch update forum give the same information????
You want to be one of the best MMORPG game companies out there? Start acting like it and be consistent, learn from your successes not just your failures, and keep your customers informed. Otherwise, Eve will go the way of so many other Online games before it.
