That titan was made in game by players with mined resources. Not conjured by an ingame shop.
I fail to see the relevance to this argument. I can buy isk for RM per CCP guidelines, and then buy myself a character. Empirically, where the character or isk comes from is truly irrelevant. What matters is the result: A one week old player can have a 100M SP Character and as many ships as they desire; all it takes is cash. That is the fact. Are you truly naive enough to believe that CCP does not manipulate what passes for an 'economy' in the game?
If you truly believe that this in-game economy is player driven, you are fooling yourself. This pseudo-economy is guided by players, but it is maintained, balanced and supported by CCP.
Simply put, RMT for in-game advantage is available NOW, and has been. You can try to dress it up however you like, but in the end that is the simple fact.
+1 I've been trying to get this point across in another thread, but people keep circling the drain of rage rather than listen to reality.
It seems there is a large shout out about non-player made items (ships in particular) being added to NeX and I understand this will affect miners. If CCP make elite uber ships available through AUR which break all other ships then yes it'll be a problem. The chances of that happening though are minimal. T1 ships will almost certainly appear in time for AUR. The question is though, if someone currently has to pay through the butt for a damned monocle, how much do you think they'll have to pay for a ship? Seriously?? I expect they will cost in excess of ú100. How many people are going to be willing to pay for a T1 ship at that price?

CCP should read this.
I'm sure plenty CCP will. The question is whether those CCP are the kind of CCP that can do anything about this situation.
For sure though it should be read by the folks in charge.

Excellent post. You've listed most of what we've got gripes about.
You may want to add that in a subscription based game, adding Micro Transactions causes a conflict of interest between developing the core game, and developing content they can charge more money over. We want assurances that the core game will still get the attention it deserves (unlike in this latest expansion)... but to be honest, I am not sure I'll believe them...

Guys - if you've read this can you acknowledge/apply glue or something please? (Cheeky i know) as the sheer volume of forum chrun is pushing this too far down too quickly.
I think if people see there is a potential for a simple response in a calm controlled way then things may settle down a bit.
Thanks

Guys... Please... Take it else where.
I am not trolling you, Ms Freak, I just think that CCP knows far better than we what to do with their game.
Not trying to rain on your parade, I am sure you feel you have valid points. I don't know why you feel surprised that the figurehead CSM was bypassed. In the end, CCP is a business. They are going to do whatever they must to remain competitive in the market. I am not surprised at anything they have done here, it is after all, their game, not ours. They are the ones that will decide what will happen here, and my guess is that all these 'leaks' were done on purpose to gauge reactions to changes that have been in the works for ages. It is to them I look for where this game should go, not the player base. I think that they have done a great job so far, and if you don't like the changes they are planning, well, HTFU. It is not the end of the world.
Perhaps their analysis of the market has shown that these changes, while perhaps making them lose say 10% of their player base, will result in a 25% increase in subscribers after all is said and done? What would you do in that situation? They do not owe us anything. They provide a service, we pay for it, quid pro quo.
Is it possible they could have done a better job in warning the players of changes in the pipe? Sure, but why do they owe me that? So I cant go farm LG Virtues in my unproebable Tengu in Aeschee anymore. So what? I need to move on and find something else to do...
Change is good, the more surprising the better.

Thanks and Indeed, i totaly agree. The idea of this thread is not to voice mine or anyone else specific issues. The idea is to give CCP an "agreed" (of sorts) list of things the community is mad about so they can attempt to address them.
For all the rage - let's give them half a chance.

This is a typical response from the truely short sighted and ignorant. Someone doesn't agree with your point of view. Clearly THEY must be wrong. So because you don't have any real argument other than "this is my point of view and it is correct", you begin with the name calling, filthy comments, the "go back to wow" stupidity. One of my favorites is the names thrown at people who are considered "rich". Rich pr1cks, a$$holes, etc. But the best is the short sighted who label people pro-CCP? If you are not pro-CCP why waste time with their products? EVERYONE who plays this game has a point of view which is no less important the the players who are yelling the loudest, and demanding that CCP change something which is their property back into something else.

I can't run EVE on my mac anymore, the NeX prices are insulting and I do feel as if the devs are sugar-coating the truth to make it easier to swallow.

While we're at it there's the support for linux native client, which was dropped because of lack of staff iirc, when games like vendetta online continue to have a linux client with a much smaller team and have added android support now too.

I can support that. I understand that no matter what my feelings are on the matter, there are many who *validly* feel differently. Your post does a fine job of representing the grievances a portion of the community might be trying to express.
At least CCP gives us all the freedom to voice dissent on their forums. Few MMO's do....
