As an interesting side note: There is no universally accepted definition of terrorism; although one could define it as the destruction of utility services (Hospitals, power plants and so forth). In that sense, yes, we are terrorist. Which only makes what we do better.

We all compete for ISK, resources and space. Competition is everywhere - in the belts, on the market in the battle field. Competition is the driving force of EvE. How can you have missed that?

In a competitive environment ,no-one wants to pick a fight they cannot win. That goes for most PvPers in EvE. Many will go a long way to avoid fighting in many situations by, for example, making safe spots, scouting and fitting cloaks. Others will fit a tank on their mining barge so they are not an easy target.

If total invulnerability was available, everyone would have to use it to gain an advantage and that would effectively kill EvE.
