The Stratios looks like it's missing textures or something. I know it's supposed to be clean looking, but right now it looks untextured. Please consider adding a few more texture details to the model. Also making it more of the pure white like the frigate version would be cool. |

The icons in the ship viewer look fuzzy. My guess is they aren't scaling to certain resolutions well. Also it would be nice if the details were just a bit bigger.
As an aside I really like the new streamlined look of the required skills pane for the item info window.
Also can we get all the cargo attributes (except drones) grouped together. It would even be okay if they're under the same header.
For drones it would be nice if bandwidth and capacity were under fitting instead. |

The new bubble effect looks good, and even seems to be slightly less of a resource hog than the old one.
I think it took 22 bubbles on the same spot for my GPU fan to notify me that it did not like what I'm doing. At that point the bubble visual hat become a pretty solid ball of white.
Also, can you add the reverse opening effect of a bubble to the end? so the bubble collapses in on itself instead of just vanishing? |

Hust a heads up about an issue regarding the Rubicon build from the test server: when i started the test server client, after patching, the client's resolution was set much lower than it was before, and i was unable to reset it to the previous setting; it was set automatically to 1024x768 and when i tried to set it back to 1366x768(or anything bigger than 1024*768) the screen kept flickering while alternating between black screens and screens of different resolutions - i was not able to click on the "keep these settings" option; in the end it stabilised after around 12-15 s at a much lower resolution of 640x480; all this while in fullscreen;
if i try to change settings while in windowed mode, i can only set it to 1024x768 which then changes to 1366x706 when i maximize the window; if i try to change the resolution to 1366x768 while in windowed mode, it lets me do it, but if after that i change to fullscreen, the client resets to 1024x768;
one thing that is also different compared to the current TQ build(and that might be relevant and usefull) is that now, in the client graphic settings screen, the graphic adapted is detected differently - i have a laptop with Nvidia Optimus technology, that switches automatically between an integrated Intel HD GPU and and a dedicated Nvidia GT 610M GPU - the current TQ client displays in the settings screen the name of the Intel GPU, while the test server client displays the name of the Nvidia GPU; both TQ and test server builds are displayed by the Nvidia GPU, as proved by the Nvidia Contro Panel
i know there were issues in the past with some graphical card from Nvidia |

The bastion animation meh has more to do with the generic meh of all ship models. A kronos, for example, looks like a 40m long ship generously judged at tops. The generator coolant transform vents look a couple meters tall.
If the ship models had the actual bulk looks of hundreds of meters lenght, the transforming would be majestic. The only ship that really looks in scale is the apocalypse. I bet paladin transform is good.
Get rid of 50X50 meter "windows" please. Re texture everything, starting with those hundred meter long looking stations. Get the texture and model scale right. |

Couple of problems with the in game map.
No lines at all regardless of settings, flat or not, and every setting tried.
Selecting a GÇÿDestinationGÇÖ shows the moving GÇÿspotGÇÖ but no connecting lines.
Selecting the GÇÿtiledGÇÖ options resulted in a long (would estimate 20 seconds or so) delay before the map changed and the tiles appeared. Once the tiles had appeared trying each setting did not cause any further delays.

Golem paint job is wrong again, it's the original Lai Dai paint job, lighter, later you changed the paint job for a darker version, the actual Cerberus paint job for example.
Model is horrible ^^ Kronos fine, it's the same TQ model but it's fine. |

...on second thought, nevermind. Fear as much as you want.
On a more productive note though, is the glow from the ionic field projectors on the Kronos supposed to be visible through the skin of the model? As it is right now, you've got two spots that glow strangely green when the ship is not in bastion mode. |

Was pretty excited about the Eos remodel, but you went and colored it a very ugly green. The Creo-Dron boats were always a really awesome shade of Blue... this... this is disappointing to say the very least. The green makes it feel like you're flying a tree. Not cool.
You can keep your Eos, CCP (or make it dark blue again).
Also, not sure how I feel about the sleipnir remodel, i rather like the Cyclone hull. I guess, based on it's aggressiveness/use it turrets it made the most sense to change, but still... *moment of silence*
Furthermore the Damnation (while not part of this release) was made a lighter shade of grey back in Odyssey and was never fixed to match the pitch black color of the other Khanid hulls. Please fix (no, really, please?). It has looked approx 67.8% lamer since then. |

ccp stated in another thread, that the golem model currently on SiSi is missing some texture layers and not yet finished.

I just tested the HIC bubble and I'm not sure this effect that I'm seeing is correct. It's a rather low resolution texture with a very apparent edge to where it looks normal. I uploaded a video to illustrate the issue:

Like they write in the short FAQ for this change, there will be a fallback to DX9 for systems that can not handle DX11. I suspect any Wine variant you're running will do the same. This is what the Mac version will be doing as well and CCP will face the same issue there if and when they want to switch to DX11 exclusively. |

The Eos is probably the sneakiest, trickiest and most underhanded ship in the game. When you preview it and when you have it docked up it looks green... but then try undocking in it. |

I was just hitting the Testserver to try the new Rapid Heavy Launcher.
I do like the general visual changes to the Golem, only while wishing it was completely symmetrical.
I do not like the Hammerhead-like structure though. Inspite of the proportions of the Golem and the position of the Hammerhead, it looks pretty ridiculous, to say the least.
I think it would look much more awesome if you would inspire yourselves more from pictures of "actual" heads of Golems like these for example for that part of the ship.
What ever you do please, please do not leave the Hammerhead there!

Tested the Raven Navy Issue earlier with the new Rapid Heavy Missile Launcher II's on it, working nice and all but when you zoom the camera out and start shooting stuff it zooms in on the ship when the missiles launch. When you zoom out again, it zooms back in when the next volley launches .. etc. Very annoying. |

That is why they are not transitioning entirely to DX11, the original post said that it will automatically select DX version based on hardware support. They may change it entirely eventually, but not until DX11 is considered "industry standard" I'd guess. |

I filed a bug report already regarding model discrepancies between the Proteus you see in the hangar and the Proteus you see in space, only to discover after submitting it that it's not just the Proteus - ALL T3 ships revert to the model used in their icon when in space.
Should I file another bug report clarifying the matter? |

The place holders, buttons, drop-down-menu placeholders do exist as noticed when mousing over them, however the entire screen is black/blank... I had to close the game window from the taskbar and re-launch in dx 9 in order to get the game window to be visible. (this was on the tq server.)
I did try launching the game from the Sisi server, and I was able to see everything (as far as I could tell) but I am not sure which dx version was being used.
I have a GTX 660 Ti (2gb) and a GTX 460 running a total of 4 monitors. I tried launching the game on my main screen which is controlled by the GTX 660 TI, but the DX 11 version didn't work. |

It's important to note that this DX11 business is only on SiSi at the moment. It won't roll over to TQ until Rubicon goes live. |

You wont be able to use the Singularity client which is DX11 capable on Tranquility and in fact you should never do this as it will only cause issues.
If you were on Singularity and everything loaded then DX11 worked for you.

I noticed an issue with my Ship Maintenance Array at a POS, where the structure itself was not showing up, but all the lighting effects were still in place. A relog fixed the issue, at least for now. Not sure if it is due to the dx11 engine or just a texture caching issue. Thought it was worth mentioning.
Also, what may already be known, the "picture" on the Golem still shows the old raven-type hull, rather than the new type hull that you can see by clicking the picture and opening the actual preview window. |

Thanks Admiral, we're aware of this issue and it should be fixed in internal builds.
