Depending on your distro you may be able to enable "Reverse Scroll direction" in your mouse options. You'll obviously have to enable/disable this every time you start and stop the game, though it may be possible writing a script that does it for you. That said, I think you'll quickly get used to it if you give it a chance!

Also, you did not tell me how to invert "looking" up and down, seems you can't do that either. Anyway, peace. I can't play a game with such fundamental flaws that have been around since, what, 2009? Enjoy your death trap, ladies.

I was being clever before and deleting the cache folder, that didn't work. Actually using game menu -> reset settings tab was the only way to fix it.

That's a wine bug. It's fixed in the development version.

That's a wine bug. It's fixed in the development version. I was getting this bug with wine 1.7, I've downgraded to 1.6.1 and everything is working now.
