Been playing around 8 months.
Got 530mill in wallet
5 BS's, tons of cruisers
Hauler load of mods/mins to take to empire...about 100mill there.
I've given over 50mill to newbs from my home forums.
I rat in 00. Got on my feet with missions. Just hammer away at missions till you can afford to lose a BS or two, then try to get permission into 00. That's where the ISKies are made.
EDIT: Ive got over 30 days of play time too...not really an excuse cause ratting can be a quick process, and hauling stuff to empire doesnt take much either.

Hello,
I am a noob, only 18 days into game, but have gotten lucky to have found a t2 implant which sold for over 35mil. I was a very happy camper. After equiping my crusier I have about 26mil left and another 10mil in assets.
What I see in the forums is that it seems the PvE Ratting (my Vexor is named Rat Trap) is the best to start collecting your first few million while you train. After that, if you don't want the life of a pirate, missions are the money maker. Is this correct?

I made 1.5 billion isk in little less than 24 hours of work in 0.6 system (or 0.5 can't remember)

Apart from that the enslaver omg man 
Most I've ever had was 3.2 billion isk. Most of it went to implants which I later lost 
allthough least i ever had was like 16 million isk and an insured megathron, so I've been everywhere

I've been playing for over 2 years.
i'm mostly stuck at the 400mil barrier , i had a freighter and a navy apoc once which i both sold for a total of 2.5bil.
I then donated the isk to my corp to build our outpost (15 man corp btw :p)

been playing off and on since beta though in the past 5 months i've aquired(and in no way do i mean to brag, just giving numbers) a 1.1 bil faction ship, 2.5 bil worth of gear, several cruisers and frigates and such, +4 implant set and other beneficial hardwires, skills for piloting a carrier and am currently saving up some money to buy and fully fit a carrier. On top of that i make regular donations to my corp.

I know of some people who are always broke not because they can't make ISK but because they PvP all the time. They join gangs all the time, and they're often very skilled: but they overdo the PvP to the point where they give themselves no time to accumulate enough cash to even start a self-sustaining business of some sort.

Also, about 600mil in assorted stuff scattered over about 6 regions.
I get to play on average about 3-4 hours a day, more when theres a corp op or something fun happening.

Well, only been here since January, a few ships, helped finance a POS with another person, in the process of Financeing another. Saveing for a Frieghter, as well as the 1 Bill needed to start an alliance...
All from ratting in 0.0.

I've been playing about 1 year and 4 months or so. I currently only have 80 million isk and 1 billion or so in assests. Mostly BS's, HAC's etc..

18 months, never gone over 250 million. Probably lost at least 10 billion to PvP over time.
That works fine for me, I just save for ships as needed.
The only annoying thing is that faction mods, which could be a really intresting factor in PvP, are priced out of mine and most PvPers range by high-sec farmers, who just use them on missions. Well them and T2 BPO owners

Ive been playing since november 05 doing pretty much only PVe. Ive gone through 4 battleships on various escapades and one bugged mission all of which were T2 fitted. Ive made well over 1 billion isk of which i have 400mil left as well as quite alot of minerals, bpo's, bpc's and some T2 frigs.
Im just saving up enough isk that i can go out PVP'ing and have enough money not to worry about losing stuff. PVe FTW!!

I know plenty of people like that. But I also know plenty of people who do an awful lot of carebearing to cover their PvP habit, and they are still always poor.
Smart players know how to make enough money on the side to sustain high risk PvP activities all the time.

Well let's see...Almost 3 year old char and i have 2.5 billion in the wallet,a freighter BPO,Carrier,dreadnaught and several T2 BC's/HAC's and +5 implants all around....This is of course without considering the skills cost to fly the above ships...
Would have even more if i hadn't lost close to 20 battleships and 1 T2 BC over that time period...

I began on 5.21.03. Currently I have A Raven, ferox, a comorant, two bestowers and various gear and low grade implants (+1). Most money ive ever had was 150 million. I cant seem to control my spending...

Woot its another post your iskies up.
The only real way to make isk in eve is to be dedicated. Meaning, yea I have spent more then a couple hours playing. Npc'ing in 0.0 can make you a pretty steady isk amount, and if you dont lose ships alot then its enough to get you by. If you are into other occupations that require a much larger capital you need to npc or mine to get you started but once you are there its done. There are a couple ways to Make fast large amounts of isk at present, but they are all quite risky. : \.
CCP please refund my 3.75b that was illegally scammed from me : ).
At that. I had 4.5b in isk as of yesterday and now down to 600M. I usually stay around 1b in isk. I wont lie I have several characters, and around 3-5 BS and assorted t2 frigs.
I dont like having this much isk tbh, b/c only smart thing to do is to invest it, and then I have to watch eve like the fricken stock market. It gets old ; ).

Hehe, I remember when you lost those overpriced implants.
Anyhow, I've been playing for around a year, probably have some 16Bn in assets scattered around, although less then a billion in my wallet. It's about about dedication and effort. Oh and some trade secrets =)

Ive been playing for a little more than 4 months and i got 430mil isk, at least half a dozen cruisers, 1 bs im waiting to fly and other stuff....so with my isk i prolly have at least 650mil isk in all my assets/isk...

Been playing for about 3 years, have never had more than 200 mil, currently have 75mil in wallet but have absolutely no idea how much my assets are worth.
I think I have virtually all tech 1 mod BPO's and drones, ammo etc, few cruiser bpo's, frig's.
Being a manu type I also have a shed load of frigs, cruisers hanging about, also have a bc, and bs thanks to lvl 4 loot :)
Never got into PVP but really considering giving it a go and getting back to 0.0

Ive been playing for just under 3 years...
Ive got about a billion, billion an a half in total assets/isk.
a lvl4 agent with 300k lp..
and some connections to get nice t2 stuff.. (some) nice t2 stuff.. lots I cant get... for a cheap price.
not to mention tons of old corp mates to chat up when I Get bored.
and a priceless knowlege of the universe and how stuff works..
