Like in Holland where it is quite normal to whish for your oponent to suffer from cancer or tuberculosis. Where in Czech republic most stick to saying someone is a pig or even a small pig. Go to spain and most likely you will hear alot of people saying that you are the son of a prostitute.
All of these are quite normal and accepted practices in their respective countries. The only thing you might say is that using the word rape, despite the contest and the setting, on an international broadcasted show was not the smartest of things to do.
Ok enough of the strange customs, the only reason I actualy looked at this tread was to say to the EVE-TV team that they have made the best TV that I have seen in months. I really liked seeing the contest as last years despite eve-radio's best efforts was just not as enjoyable for outsiders to follow.
Thanks EVE-TV I have finaly found that not playing EVE the whole day can be fun as well. 
In Italy its "Son of a terrorist *****" in france they dont liek that and u get nutted lol

You guys at eve sure know how to keep a player hooked to your game, one big compliment to you all.
Inside the game you bring out good content time after time adding depth to the game and outside of the game you keep me hooked with new stuff like EvE tv. I really enjoyed the battles and the commentators know what they are talking about :)

Nice show as usual, and today Im very satisfied that there were quite a few minnie ships fielded in the tournament on the winning side. Was beginning to lose hope after the first day there with all the caldari spamming.
Of course they insulted the muninn looks just like they called the Tempest a radiator, but hey, i can live with that.

He's not Scotish - Although he does wear a skirt when he's out in Rekyjavik, but he claims its a kilt

Yeah we had a few server balancing issues today (Especally after we got Slashdotted )
I hope everyone was able to get on ok, We will be totally revising our server setup over the next few days to hopfully be able to cope with shocks like that.

I have about 400 things to say, but I'll address those that are swimming at the top of my head right now:

*1 It's an experimental client designed specifically for this, taking hours of coding. If you want to hack the client, design your own, and get a readable font, and alliance tickers, that works and doesnt crash, please do, then get banned instantly for hacking the client. not a good idea.
*2 see above
*3 again, see above. the cameraman (mainly mephysto) is working his little balls off, and all congrats to him.
*4 the client tells us what ships they are, and consider this. they're not watching it from home, they're in a hot (really ******* hot) studio, with a thousand messages going back and forth, and some of the ships look REALLY similar. big props to them, they're doing good work. Consider 10 ships a game, 16 games a day, that's 160 ships over 6 hours
let them get a couple wrong. and if it's more than a couple, nobody dies. apart from the team that aint as good, ofc
*5 the man who does that somehow has a life, and wasn't working on sunday. the schedule can still be found on the forums, tbh

To answer why Caldari ships are being favoured... crystal implants + shield boosting using all med slots, while still able to hit for amazing damage up to almost any range with no need for tracking...ftw.

I was wondering if it was possible that the cameraman sets one of the teams to +5 and the other one to -5 so that its easier to see who's who. I saw that sometimes he gets gang invite but the standing based solution would mean a lot less intervention into the flow of events.

It's obviously not true, as you've backed the correct 'old-school alliance' all the time, while Ifni's been talking out if his *** (zomg they didn't turn up to bend over in a 200vs200@200km range lagfest so they obviously can't do good in a 5vs5)

Just pointed out Stav initially tipped SA to go through and went with us for our two matches this far.

I think someone goofed up about the Morsus Mihi being RP-ers in their first match, and the fact that it upset Morsus Mihi so much meant that they will be talked about as "that rp alliance" forever just to spite them...
