Is there a reason why i dont get the pop-up infos when u right click a skill or the attritubes, whereas i get it to work on my other computer? Both are XP Windows. I mean is there a setting in windows or something that prevents that sort of pop-ups from happening. I really want it on cuz i love seein all that info, its quick look what skills need, at what sp/hour, and so forth.

Almost certainly because you need to set up your implants - click the "more.." button on the character sheet and chose "manual implant groups"
CCP no longer provide implant data in the XML feed.
Once you have your implants set right, the time is accurate to the second
However,there is a small issue with the fact that the CCP server that generates the XML feed has a clock that is currently running about 3 minutes early - as you can easily confirm by going to your character sheet online and comparing your current skill's finishing time there with what is shown in game.
EVEMon can compensate for this discrepency - if you go to options/alerts you can adjust the notification offset which means that EVEMon will alert you x minutes ahead of when the skill is actually due to finish.

Hey guys,
I wonder if you might be able to help me out. I really want to try the EVEMon Program but when i try and find my character i keep getting the same error (Getcharacterlist() issue: Could not retrieve character list). I have tried to check proxy settings, even shut down my firewall. I am wondering also how i create a *.xml file of my character.

if your proxy is of the 'https' type then you need to get a patch for your install of .net as far as I'm aware to get it working.... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928563 from Microsoft

Hey, for some reason I cant access the EvE-Mon forums right now so i thought id just ask here.
I have a character wanted to terminate and create again with new attributes but with the same name. I did this and now evemon seems to have kept all the skills that the old character had. Iv tried uninstalling and nothing changes upon reinstall, so i assume there must be info that it saves somewhere that i need to delete aswell. Just wondering where i would find it?

Yep, c:\documents and settings\<logon name>\Application Data\EVEMon\settings.xml
Nuke that file and all will be well.

What's the xact message you're seeing?
If you can get to your character sheet online ("My Character" on the lfet there, click on portrait and then click on the xml link) then evemon should be able to grab it too.
Sorry to ask a noobish question but are you sure you're entering the right password, including upper/lower case letters?
If this is a home pc it's unlikely that you're going through a secure proxy

Hey,
ya i am typing in the right pass word, and log in, i tried entering the wrong one to see if that would change the message i got, but it gives me a invalid login error.
The exact error i am getting it..
Getcharacterlist() error: Cannot get character list.
i will try getting xml link and see if that helps

Strange /confushing /i want to have skill i found in Eve Mon ;)
Warp Navigation.
Skill at navigating in warp. 10% Bonus to warp accuracy and 10% less max range from desired warp location per level.
Does not show up whit the new option showw all trainable skills in eve  
What sytem do you folks run ,coz eve mon isnot the only tool/program that sues frame network.

heh, I'll take that out - we take all the skills from the data dump that ccp provide. Some are GM skills, some are are/were never released. We missed this one.

Ok, so my problem with framework was that I didn't have Windows Installer 3 on my computer, which it told me when i tried to get framework from the microsoft website, so if anyone else is having that problem, go download windows installer 3 from their website, then install .net framework.

can we have the xml from the eve server written to a file? id like to read the info from it in a samurize desktop display. at the moment im using ineve.net, but its not the ideal solution, is missing some features, and id like to delete my character from it anyway. this way would just cut the middleman and give me what i want on my pc.

This is the default behavior. Look in C:\Documents and Settings\<your name>\Application Data\EVEMon\cache\xml

I too am having problems connecting since this last update. I've even tried wipeing EVEMon out and starting from scratch (not that I expected it to work, I just needed to upgrade). When I enter the account info I get a message saying "No characters were found on that account."
Hope CCP didn't break it on purpose!
... and thanks to all the EVEMon devs/helpers! It's a great tool

Hi, I have just downloaded Evemon for the first time, so I am not familiar with it at all. I have tried to add a character by using my eve log-in details, but it tells me that no character can be found on the account... the log-in details are definately correct!
Please Help me!

Agreed, I'm have the same problem with eve-mon. Sound like people need to get to ranting. Cause that the only way things get done around here.

they have disabled the character sheet so eve mon will not work till it is turned back on
