i know youve gotten them after a kill, the unhappy victim calls you up and starts demanding why you have crushed him beneath your keel.
so what are your witty replies? a fellow corpmate likes to say it was a weapons malfuction. i ussaly give a 5 second pause then in caps HELLO PIRATE!!!( i love pirates of the carribean) so what are your replies to these?

This system has a strict nominated parking system, your ship was illegally parked, and as you wouldnt pay the parking fine your ship was destroyed... dont blame me mate I dont make the rules I only work here :)

I reject all convo invitations after the ship has been destroyed. But I usually get a vengenance threat or Class2 gank chatter in local. (Class2 GankChatter: A battle of intellectual superiority often fought out entirely by the gankee so they can feel that they have won the fight on the mental plane by saying things like: I just made 4 millfrom the insurance thanks or wow alot of effort to pop an empty hauler good job)

Hm been awhile since i killed someone who convoed me afterwards (all recent kills been in 0.0 and they dont usually whine as much), but the 'i just work here' takes the cake.

Not quite the same thing, but...
I was the victim of a pirate attack. After the deed was done, I sent him a conversation request.
I thanked him for the lesson.
Part of my goal for that night was to be attacked by a pirate. To learn what I can expect from an encounter.
I took my first ship into lowsec in a cheap mining getup.
After a while of mining some jaspet an Enyo located me as I was on my way to a roid (I had JUST gotten into range as he warped in). Consequently I was not aligned. So I learned the valuable information about how long it takes to be locked down, and what sort of damage is dealt. This was a -9.1 rated pirate so I believe it to have been a rather realistic experience of what I can find from experienced pirates (As opposed to a newer pirate that is closer to my skill level)
All in all, I found the experience to be enlightening, and a good way to cash in on the insurance of an old ship. Unfortunatly the pirate was left with only 3 miner I's and a couple civilian mods for his spent ammo. I feel a little guilty about that.

Because I thought it might be fun.
Then I ask them if they had fun, sometimes they say yes, sometimes they say no, if they say no, I ask why, and try to convince them that PvP is fun.
The last guy I convoed that killed me was a Crow pilot after he beat me in my Ranis, and that was to ask him what I did wrong, turns out I actually did a good job, and he just out-damaged me.

I replied "out of game for a while, was rusty and needed practice" once, which happened to be the truth, the players demise was slowed by me clicking my warp disrupter on then spamming 1234 a couple times, in local no less, before remembering that its F1,F2,F3,F4 etc.
I did get the expect "U SUK" reply from him...
So, "yeah, yeah I do, 6 months of rust will do that, HEY come back in a new ship ASAP so I can get more practice in, use better fittings too!"...

If they ask in local, I ask them to convo me. Of course my email charge is 100k, but most people click through the warning message.
Then, once we are talking, I close the window after I type an incomplete sentence then ask them to convo me again in local claiming I closed the wrong window.
My record is 16 convos from one person I killed. My overall record was 18 times from a macroer who would just keep spamming messages in a foreign language.
