Ok i think we need a sticky for the new CEO tooks esp the tracking one CEOs able to see where members last docked and also last login date (thats right inactives can be removed an an accurate detail on their last activitiy levels)
Also the remote corp hanger transfer (will allow security to be better) lower level members isntead of hanger access can just dock and CEO-directors can remotely transfer afte splitting stacks into numbers specific amounts of said item to the member - this will really remove a lot of corp theif activity.
Um alliance wallets ? or at least corp divisional wallets finally working rights where there in RMR but not hte actual wallet divisions (CEO full wallet) then give each director a devisional wallet with a set amount of ISK to spend etc. (further allow better control over corp)

Are these all confirmed as being in Kali 1 or are they coming in later? Are they testable on SiSi right now?
I have *so* been waiting for better corp management tools for years and that giant sticky with all the ideas in was just begging to be introduced into the game.

Those that are in testing will be in Kali 1 release. We have a long list of improvements which will show up at a later date, largely based suggestions from the corp management thread and suggestion from a the managers of the largest corporations.

CEO to become more than a dartboard! I love the idea
The tracking looks awesome, from day one of kali I took a grab and freaked out the entire corp. Unfortunatley Its quite hard to get all the corp on sisi at once to really test it and see if its as good as it looks. Has anyone seen it in action with more than 2 people in corp?
For those that aint seen it yet, I took this on the kali/sisi first day.

Is there anyway we can control container access in a corp hanger and not allow a member to take the container itself? I would like to give members access inside containers, but not be able to take the container from the corp hanger.

Now that we have a sticky topic for these issues, let me link to the topic where I've exhaustively detailed my testing of the new "deliver to" functionality.
Short version -- it's not currently working remotely. It looks like it's supposed to, so we're hoping this is a bug that gets fixed.

Are they expanding the taxing for corporations/alliance thru more journals entry's?
Are there going to be taxation by Alliances to the members or something?
I am wondering if taxation is coming to contracts for corps, sales. buys?
Why would a corporation not have control of everything a member does on the market?
Why would an Alliance not want the get benifit from a member of a corp in the alliance?
We should have a larger more robust taxation tool. We should have the ability to tax higher upto 100%.
With more production, rigs, tech II invention Alliances and corps need to benifit from thier producers. Having the mod now is only evident if the producers is directly involved. Why not allow for data base searches and see how many research slots and what are in the slots from an Alliance and corps stance for each member.
Lets not stop at knowing where and what ship your in . Let the ceo manage his members and thier assests. YOu should allow the show info on the corp/alliance show what is turned on and what is off.

I agree with Gina here. As CEO of a bunch of no good losers (ill expect that "run for CEO" vote soon then) I would seriously be unimpressed with that kinda option even though it would be me in full control of it.
The new "deliver too" etc should more than suffice for shifting gear to them, the tracking is an extremely handy tool for keeping a subtle eye on the whereabouts etc and simple viewing of corp hangers is enough Big Brother if you suspect anyone of misdeeds corp side.
What we really need to solidify all these tools are accounts to work. Give me that and Ill never whine again that the CEO role in EVE is an underpowered pain in the ass.

Why not let a corp CEO choose his style of play and allow game mechanics to be a part of it.
I have been in social corps. WHere everything was corp owned and supplied the program came from those that got and put nothing in.
I have been in capitalist corps. Where everyone was doing things for themseleves. The problem no one did anything for the corp
I have been in mixed corps. There is more than enough of he does this and thye dont do that to make your head spin.
If a CEO says we are doing everything for the corp then tax all market and research contract everything 100%. Watch what each member is doing. That corp will only get people that want to do it.
I say we give the tools to the CEO to allow for these things to occur. If the tool is turned off or not used then show that in the corp info.

Harisdrop, myself and a few others in corp were discussing this on the corp TS and I can see some logic in the points that he makes.
For instance - it would create a much more tightly controlled corp with all like-minded members. The potential for a corp to all have the one vision rather then having a similar vision and mainly going about their own business is one that would be enticing to most CEO's. The productivity and overall efficiency of the corp could very well get a boost. Keeping it in there as an option is a possibility. It can or cannot be used - depending on the CEO. If you're fine with it, there is no problem. If you're not so keen, you'd leave.
Having said that - this is a game. I doubt most people would want to be a part of a 'tightly controlled' corporation. It's kind of like the 'dictatorial' option in creating an alliance. The option is there but how many do you see have actually opted for it? And if not too many people are opting for it - there won't be too many CEO's wanting to enable it.
I know BIG use the communist system fairly well (from second hand info) - but that's not an overly large corporation and I'm sure that even though they profess to run the corporation in that open and frank way - they would still have their own stockpiles of things. It's human nature. I know I would. I have been forgotten or left in the lurch by CEO's before that have said they will do something right away or will take care of an issue ASAP only to find that 2-3 weeks later the issue is still present or that what I had asked for is not completed - despite the original promise that it would be.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not bitter and nor is this an attack on our CEO (let's hope he doesn't think so - - he hasn't done this to me - I'm speaking of other corps) - CEO's play the game like the rest of us. Why should they devote their time wholly and soley to corp member's needs and wants? They shouldn't. But in return - why should I give everything that I make to my CEO? I shouldn't. Especially when there is a very good chance that my contribution and requests will be forgotten about in the course of time.
As was written in a previous post - there is a very profound difference bewtween kneeling and bending.

These are all management tools, so they would still be valid for a small corp, you'll just have less of a need for them, but your still able to use them just the same as 300 member corps.

I'm sure some current alliances would be dictorial: YES if they could.
The lack of CEO tools is one of the biggest pet peeves I've had running a corp or alliance. There is simply not enough to cover all of the functions of a corp.
The title system itself is in need of lengthening. I'd say 20 title slots at least.

I think there has to be some strict rules applied. Your corp/alliance should be as it is when you join it. It should not be able to change.
Allow for corporations/Alliances to be sold.
There should be Alliance stock.

I am all for more tracking enhancements for CEO's, while I understand that intrigue is part of the game, and a part that I know you CCP guys really like, I think that corp theft is WAY to easy. If people want to be corp theives then I think they should have to work at it as hard as someone works to be an uber industrialist. The way it works right now is just slanted way to much in favor of the scumbag that takes from everyone who worked so hard to amass what they amassed. More CEO controlls and more checks and balances for the win.
On the other hand...dictatorial control over corp members FTL. We all pay to play the game. I for one do not pay Thirty bucks a month so when I get home in the afternoon someone can tell me what to do just like the last eight hours at work I just got done with.

Here, here. Not that I'm a CEO and nor do I aspire to be one anytime soon - but this just makes sense. EVE is supposedly a game based upon corporations warring with each other. Corporations have budgets and accounts for their various departments. You could have the specifics of who can see what tied to various titles and so on of course.
It would make it easier to keep track as well (not just tracking individual stats but these 'department' stats as well). Want to know what the mining department have spent their money on recently and whether it has been wise expenditure? Check the budget report for the last 3 weeks or whatever. See who has approved the purchases and what they have spent the money on.
Do this, CCP. Please. ------------- Is it just me or am I amazing? It's just me? ****. |

Yes, please, for the love of the game please. Please. Did I say please? As a corp director I can tell you that this would make managing the budget much easier, especially since you could give junior directors/officers access to divisional wallets so they can buy stuff for the corp, but can't run away with EVERYTHING.

If a dead corp owns an office, it will fail to pay it shortly after it died anyway. :) So, the corp usually ends up with a headquarter somewhere without any office behind it. :)

Originally by: Ragnar Anchor I think that corp theft is WAY to easy.
It's only easy cause CEOs/Directors are stupid, if you don't give everyone in you corp access to everything, then they can't steal everything.
I recently saw a corp that was upset with a corp thief and wanted everyone else in the alliance to consider the pilot KOS even though he was still in their corp (pending the 24 delay on role removal). I did info on the pilot and saw that he'd been in the corp for like 1 week, and I'm like, why in the world did you give someone that new to your corp, access to anything at all... at the very worst I have a hanger that has basic mods / ships / shuttles in it that I don't care if someone takes cause they aren't worth all that much, but even that I don't give access to for at least 2 weeks, or only at a "based" at station.
The biggest thing I would like to see if more detailed access controls, but in the mean time I take the conservative approach and I don't let people access to anything of value. ____________________________________________________________________ Wrayth - "These are not the carebears you are looking for." All I really want, is divisional accounting. It means I can do more than play accountant. I can entrust monthl budgets for divisons to certain corp members, and not have to worry about it, except for the 1 day a month I have to sit down and do the accounts.
Is this even a potential for any of the upcoming kali releases? Or is it just speculation from players who would like to see it happen.

Unless something has changed and I have not been paying attention, (unable to get into game for 3 weeks) then the Trader role not only gives Deliveries access but it also gives access to the corp wallet. Which I'm sure you can understand has security concerns. I simply want to be able to give the rank and file members the ability to collect corp buy orders and move them to the correct station.

The new Deliver To: option makes things a bit easier, but the Delivery Boy role would be the best solution.
What else would I like to see? Traders to be able to modify corp buy/sell orders.

This is needed badly. BADly. I think my corp has something in the neighborhood of 30 million shares!?

I have *so* been waiting for better corp management tools for years and that giant sticky with all the ideas in was just begging to be introduced into the game.
Those that are in testing will be in Kali 1 release. We have a long list of improvements which will show up at a later date, largely based suggestions from the corp management thread and suggestion from a the managers of the largest corporations.
Can we have SAP integration? :)

Attempt to tax member of your corpo above 100 % and it will be sure that all member will exit of them. a corporation is an economic entity the members have to remove a profit from it, not do bare by a guru

Divisional Wallets, Divisional Wallets, Divisional Wallets.
A higher tax rate option would be nice. As has been said, those corps will attract certain persons and those who do not like that high tax will go somewhere less burdensome. I for one wouldnt mind setting my corps tax rate to 12-15%

Exactly. Release the brakes and allow corporations the freedom to make their own choices. If DB-load is an issue, then "collect" the taxes and deposit them once every 24h during DT. -- Support democracy! - Because it has to work |

As for export tools, I'd rather have CCP release some technical data about the cache files to help the 3rd party app side of the community develop the tools that CCP does not have the time to introduce into the game.
These cache files don't actually influence the game as they are just information caches. And the information is already downloaded to us and simply displayed to us ingame. Having access to the encoding details will allow exporting of the transaction wallet or the wallet journal.
I've done the manual method of gathering such data. The words I would use to describe this would not get past the filters and likely get me banned (again >wink<). But the sales journal is far to cumbersome for me to work in any effective manner. And, tbh, this is the reason I've not bought Tycoon as 100 orders tax my time, alot, so I can't imagine how much 200 - 300 would.
One export tool, in addition to any wallet related one, would be an asset export tool. If I could wish I'd have it export the list of assets on a hangar... and an export of the blueprint list. (With me/pe in the list)
Of course requests for this kind of functionality has existed since beta. I'm not hopeful that it will get satisfied... but I am a touch desperate for it though.

there needs to be an ability to tax refines much in the same way the station tax is taken from conq stations...
Any corp office would be able to levy tax based on refines at that station, and you would be able to configure what hangar these items were stored in.
No office, no refine tax. Simple as that.

You know... I just noticed this, but I was poking about on google for some stuff related to EVE's audit containers etc. And one of the links was to the old Exodus info. Which showed that divisional wallets would be implemented and hell even gave screenshots.
I'm just wondering why that was never implemented? I mean to me at least (And obviously many others) this sort of thing is a must have. That way corpthieves cant run off with the whole **** wallet unless they have full access. And generally that would be the CEO, and if the CEO is a corpthief, well then your screwed from the start really I suppose. Yay we finally have a forum: http://pantherspaw.freehostia.com/ |

- We need divisional wallets.
- Need built-in Division Head role for each division, who has a) ownership of the divisional wallet, b) full access to his/her hangar(s).
- I agree with creating a read-only access to the financial data, with proper security, to enable 3rd party tools.
- The current implementation (in revelations) for tracking works for me.
- Some way to anchor cans in hangars (but allow access to them...eg take unlocked items from the can) would be a seriously nice thing to have, for ease of hangar security.
- The 10% tax limit is bad. Let the CEO/board decide...up to 100%. I wouldn't ever go 100%, but let the rookie CEO see what happens!
- The deliver to option rocks, but a delivery boy role would be really useful still!
- Would love to see uploadable corporate logos (ala alliance logos)
- The increase to 12 titles is GREAT, but still not enough.
- We need at least 2 more hangars/divisions, to separate mining & salvage, and construction and manufacturing. To have both apprentices and experts in each division, we'd need more titles.
Cheers, Eti

Such data, as I proposed, is already read-only. It's just cache. Security is a non-existant issue.
