Something needs to be done about the drones tab in overview. Personally, All overview things should be optional. I really so no reason why we should not be able to pull Gang tab, and drones to thier own window.
Really becomes a pain for small gangs when you are trying to keep an eye on gang members' status, drones heath, and selected target. The result is that the only things that actually show on the "overwiew" are about 3 ships. Don't work to well when fighting 20 hostiles.
Giving the drones thier own windows and command buttons would be a great start to helping the overview. At current, might as well have guns in overview too

I think its a great idea. Just needs to become visible if you have drones in your ship. Not forgetting there are alot of ships out there that dont have a very large dronebay. Perhaps make it an addition to the UI in particular ships that would require it. (Carriers, domi's etc)

OMG pretty pictures! I don't fly gallente, but drone controls bite right now and could use some serious lovin. I think this is one of the better ideas put forward (with keyboard shorcuts of couse)

/signed. CCP, the drone interface, the gang interface, the overview, and the entire UI need a complete overhaul. Even the changes made in Rev 1 aren't all that groundbreaking when it comes to clutter in the overview. The overview is the most important part of the UI in EVE, Why oh why is it being neglected so?

This is a well-planned, well-designed idea. Relatively simple implementation. The man has even done the concept art! Why in EVE has this not been put into use??? This is 9 months old?
