How about you just DISABLE the scanner probe markers in the options of the new scanner map and let your problem just vanish INSTEAD of complaining about an issue wich is not one at all? |

This is odd, because I've just swapped my Onyx for a Helios - so I'm wondering, "Why am I getting powergrid notifications for a ship I just left? Maybe I'll reboard it and check." Picture 2 - Me reboarding my Onyx, and getting a warning that I now don't have enough grid to run the Medium Neut. Game log: [ 2015.11.05 14:42:32 ] (info) To bring Medium Diminishing Power System Drain I online requires 175.00 power units, but only 166.91 of the 1071.91 units that your power core produces are still available. This is odd, because a minute earlier I was told the LSE wasn't powered, but it looks like it might be after all. I better check the fitting screen. Picture 3 - My fitting screen, which firstly revealed the Neut was offline, the LSE was online, but the Neut could be onlined. Then I noticed the wiredness. On the fitting screen, my missile launchers appear to be unloaded. But on my display, they are fully loaded. Picture 4 - This is me after relogging, and reopening the fitting window. It now appears that all my modules have disappeared from the fitting window, but as you can see, they are still active on the HUD. Picture 5 - I closed the fitting window, and tried to mouse over the module activation button. There "should" be a tool tip in this screen shot. There is no tool tip. Picture 6 - This is after I warped off to a safe, jet canned some ammo, and managed to activate the launcher and destroy the can. This picture is me right clicking the Missile launcher to reload ammo. No reload dialogue box has appeared. After all this, and deciding to try some common bug fixes, I left the game with all clients and cleared my game cache from the Launcher. (Note, this was all after today's patch and emergency reboot.) My launcher will now not let me enter a username; it has a the wee blue spinning status icon; and the client status bar is all grey. I am able to log into the game using the bin folder exefile.exe. So, I think there are three issues here: 1) There's a problem associated with fitting when you board ships at a Ship Maintenance Array. 2) There's a serious bug affecting the fitting window, module tool tips, and the module right click interface. 3) At the present, clearing cache may well crash the launcher. I'm off to run eve repair - will update when I have. I have. There was a small fix patch down loaded, but this has had no effect on the launcher problem. It still does nothing, and eventually my OS gives a process time out warning.

Since it is checking over 65000 files you should consider to defragment at least the affected area if the files are NOT on an SSD or look for any other real source of your problem instead of blaming the launcher. My launcher was done checking after 3 minutes and 11 seconds (just tested it). Not always is CCP the cause of a problem :P
if that was the case it would do it everytime i start the launcher, it doesnt, its only after 1 of their 6 week updates and will do so for 3 or 4 days and then 1 of the myriad of patch fixes they deploy, actually fixes it. |

Great, so we are supposed to wait our time... guess I am lucky enough waiting 2 days till next skill, could have been much more...
Still I am upset by this approach. It's like "oh well, WE f*cked up... who cares, YOU will just wait your time". Fair enough for a Free to Play game... For a paid service? The question I will ask myself pretty much as I should pay my year subsription in a month. Guys, guys, you can do better... |

See in the patch notes that there was a memory leak issue that was fixed. Any chance this may have been causing the client lag (rewinding, modules not activating) that some of us have reported?

I can only move straight up: if I try to align, orbit, keep at range, double click in space etc. my ship starts heading up at max speed. Warping still seems to work just fine and I can jump through gates, if I land in range. Everything works (or worked) just fine on an alt earlier today.
I may or may not be impersonating one of my alts or vice versa.

This has been going on for days now with not reply in here about it. At least tell us WH'ers that you are trying to figure out what is going on. It will calculate and compare the hash sums of all important data and redownload the damaged/missing ones if any. Since you need those files anyway, you will need to download them the one way or another to play. If you do clear your cache, then all files will be redownloaded, wich would be contra productive for your case, so just try the repair option
Ended up doing a 'chkdsk /r' on my game drive, and after that a defrag. I had made a copy of the game folder a few weeks ago and decided to copy it over it. Then, after defrag was done, decided to give the launcher one more try. It updated the launcher, downloaded the patch and this time it did it, its working good again. |

For the beta map issue - can you submit a bug report? I have an open defect that I track performance issues with the beta map in. Submitting it from the client is preferable, you can get that via the F12 menu.
I don't understand, because the post was concerning the lost of SP with Blood Raider Accelerator active on downtime, not the beta map.

I attempted to reload my HAMs, mousing over them failed to produce the popup, right clicking failed to produce a menu. Checked inventory, made sure i had ammo. attempt to open fitting window and drag and drop to load.....
Modules seem to display correctly in HUD, but are not recognized when attempts are made to activate.
Resistance profile is displaying correctly, but fit is not cap stable with mwd online, and I hope a Gila does more than 37.3 drone DPS with Vespas.

Sleeper Cache sites are broken:
Standard Sleeper Cache - Proximity detection isn't functioning. There are a few places in this site where you have to be within a certain range of a hackable container to make it actually hackable. Also hacking the security container near the beginning of the site has no effect now. (Also the security alarm can that spawns in the first part of the site did not spawn in one of the sites I did, which I was unable to reproduce, but I have also never seen this bug before)
Superior Sleeper Cache - Room 1 - Properly aligning the solar array does nothing. Hacking the remote reroute can does nothing. Room 2 - Hacking the security device to activate the friendly sentry does nothing.
Hope this helps. |

The only reason I'm replying here is because I feel bad and understand it's a very serious bug. The forums are however not a good tool to report bugs or find out what bugs we are aware of. If you report thought the proper tools I believe you get to follow some basic information on what is happening to the BR, including if it is attached to an active defect.
Just a heads up we did get a response in anyother thread about the moduel problem.
