I'm still a newbie, I think, based on my only being a part of this game from February of this year. However, I've been watching this fiasco with great interest. Based on your post, and the posts of quite a few GoonSwarm people, I can see that my basic definition of "fun" doesn't quite match up to theirs. Additionally, you've managed to explain an entire section of the game that I have not yet been able to grasp the reasons behind. The griefing. Finally, you've also managed to explain fleet operations to a point that I feel much better knowing about this section of the game, as I have not yet experienced it. Thank you for your, in my opinion, fair minded and even handed explanation. Those of us that are not directly involved in this mess appreciate it. I feel I learned a lot in this thread, and that's always a good thing. Fly safe. This is my main. I am not a part of, or affiliated with GS, BoB, or any other alliance.

You spitted everything out on the forums when maybe you should have submitted to CCP all the stuff thru other more proper channels. And then, if they had swept everything under the rug, take it to the forums. But of course, you wouldn't do that. Let's not forget that these accussations you made were a bunch of lies to begin with, whose only purpose was to begin a witchunt by manipulating and purposefully lying to the ENTIRE community and even people outside this game. What for? To discredit BOB, their allies, the entire game and even CCP. So if you had taken them silently to CCP they way it should have been done, CCP could have retrieved the evidence, showed it to you, and then you wouldn't have been able to post all this on the forums and generate the repercussions you have made. And also I do not think the 4000 thousands Goons that play EVE were actually those who did this. Probably the leadership who planned all this stuff must have given orders to their most "trusted" pals, and in turn these to some others, adding up to 500/700 people with a couple of ALTS each to generate the desired effect. That's why many Goons will deny everything. Because they probably don't know what was indeed ochestrated, and do not believe their leadership capable of this ****. So they will charge forward blindly reassuring everyone that there was not plot. In turn, turning against CCP for what they believe it is an "injustice" and more favoritism towards BOB. Man, I am not dumb, I have met A LOT of manipulative people during my all my life, and to be honest this STINKS bad. And whoever orchestrated this is so naive as to believe nobody would even notice and things would flow naturally... We've had veteran players screwing with us from day one, starting with the GHSC infiltration/attempt to enslave us/wardec that blew apart one of the first goon corps and made a lot of us quit. Since then goons dealt with a steady stream of incursions into Syndicate by older players who wanted to pad their killboards with newbies in mining cruisers, including your buddies in LV who thought it was the height of comedy to send cloaking carriers into our space. Goonfleet's pilots were all born under fire. For most of us, playing the game our way isn't aimless nihilism. It's revenge. Your signature has been removed due to a lack of EVE-related content. Your alliance has offered nothing constructive to the community in all of this in the last while. Any group that supports racial slurs and supports the type of grief play your organization apparantly supports, reflects poorly on the social character of hte people behind the characters - which is not fictious. I find the type of social atmopshere depicted by this former GS member to be a poor reflection of the human condition in general.
