A Dev stated here that these R&D agents would have Mechanical Engineering research teams, but when I looked at the Amarr ones it is not showing up under the agentĘs info

BUG: Survey Scan Result sort order returns to default upon any update.
Any action that updates the survey scan results ends up resetting the sort order to the default. I'm trying to sort by ore and everytime it updates it gets reset to the default order.
Sig: Miners supply the ore that the Industrialists use to build the ships you PVP/E with so please think of them as your ship blows up from the enhanced PVP/E in EVE. We know CCP hasn't.

for the love of iceland, puhleeeease give us the option to retain all game related folders in the game home directory! some of us don't like storing game data of any sort in the C: documents folder.

Happy to report that after joining the orderly queue and diving into the game, I've hopped around for a bit, run a couple of missions, explored and dipped into the LP store and encountered no issues yet. Fantastic work, CCP. I heart you!

Confirmed, all my overview settings, window positions, colors, all reset. Some of my friends did not have to reset this stuff. What do I do to get it all back? Give me some customer service damnit! NOW!
I do not look forward to sitting for an hour in space redoing all of my overview settings. Please tell me how to restore this stuff.

None of the Gallente agents show Mechanical Engineering as well.
Also could you add the LP count to the Attributes tab of the corp info. Unless you go to the corp station there is no way to find out how many LP's you have.

My client gets stuck at Acquiring Bulk Data. The folders have been succesfully moved to it's new location and the patching process when just fine. Still, I can't log in even after waiting 30 minutes.
Any idea what can I do in order to log in?

All I get is the splash screen. It stays up for a few seconds then disappears. Then...nothing. No logon screen. Any ideas?

Maybe its me, but The tutorial Dungeon instance described in patch notes Does not work. i am left looking at a Tutorial that the agent will not give me ANY Missions and when i undock im left looking at space without the old newbie training grounds.
Overview is Borked once more.settings folder seems to be wiped even when manually moving it to all the places mentioned in the patch notes. revelations II is a horrible color for some.
game crashes occasionaly when jumping through gates ..no message just straight to desktop, could be lag.

I just patched EVE and am running Windows Vista Home Premium. I'm right clicking on the EVE.exe icon and selecting to "Run as administrator". When I get to the login screen, I get a message saying: "Insufficient Privileges: Please run EVE with administrator rights to complete data migration". I am not on a FAT32 partition and have followed the directions as given. When I attempt to connect to the server, I get the following message:
"Local Session Corrupt: The client's local session information is corrupt, probably as a result of failed cleanup during a disconnect. Connecting to the server in this state could lead to a rather unpleasant game experience. Please restart the client prior to logging in."
I've rebooted the machine and have restarted the EVE client. The above two issues continue to persist. What can I do to fix this?

Not sure if this has been addressed yet, but I need to know a couple of things:
How does the LP store affect Research Points now that there is no Offer Tab in my journal? How will I receive an offer for a BP if I have no offer tab?
I have no research listed on the Research Tab in my journal, but I know I have one research agent running because I have the option to take it elsewhere, and I really don't want to lose my RP. Any help on recovering my Research status ?

I too get the "login as administrator to complete migration" message..... despite logging in to 3 different accounts (a user with local admin, the local administrator and the domain administrator).

Then when I log in, I get the normal 'downloading bulk data....' dialogs. Then.... nothing. Just sits there. Been 20 minutes so far. Still nothing. No disk activity, no significant CPU used, nothing.
fwiw: game is installed on D: drive, My Documents is on C: drive which is getting full (280Mb free) - which is why all this stuff was on D: drive to start with.
And both drives are NTFS so it's not caused by FAT32 as a previous poster suggested.

My settings will not stick. Also when i set a destination and use auto pilot it keeps shutting off and wiping my waypoints. as well my side window keeps opening up everytime I jump or enter a station.

First of all, props for what seems to be a relatively smooth deployment. Been playing for a while now and aside for the agony of having to restore settings  things seem rather smooth. The promised improvement with regards to drone lag is quite noticeable although still not quite as smooth as I would have liked.
On a related note, there's an updated version of EVE launcher for all of us multi-account runners, serious props to Grismar for that one.

Some files appear in C:\Documents and Settings\<Profile name>\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\settings (A hidden folder to most people)
Other files appear in My Documents
Plus some go into Eve directory
So spread into 3 separate locations (anything in the registry too?), this is supposed to be good for the customer?
*Edit* Yes it all looks shiny and fast when I'm in, which is why the lack of configuration for where the settings files live and losing all my settings in the process is so frustrating

Logged in everything seems ok so far. I'm running a mission (Pirate Intrusion) in Emolgranlan and it seems like the jumpgate into the next room isn't 'placed' correctly - I actually warped into the next room from what looks to be about 6 km away (near the solar harvester) - kinda cool really. Overview said I was only about 300m away.
Also one of my regular agents didn't greet me with a smile like she usually does.

The patch didn't move my settings to My Documents, but still deleted the settings in my install folder. So now I'm left with no settings saved at all. :(
1) <eve install>/cache/settings folder is empty.
2) C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\My Documents\EVE doesn't have a settings folder.
