Nuff said.
No other HAC (or other ship) comes even close to the Vagabond in over-poweredness. It has speed, DPS and tank.
Just look at 99% of the alliances killboards and see how many peeps are flying it to see that every noob and his iWin button are flying one.
This is a side-effect of the Nano nerf. Now peeps all fly the only remaining nano ships - Vaga and to a lesser extent, Nanophoon.
Time to plug the hole. Let the noobs learn how to fly ships that actually, you know, involve a bit of risk and brain power. |

kinetic missles == dead vaga or vaga that runs away
huginn/rapier == dead vaga
sensor damps == dead vaga or one that runs away

This has to be a troll, nobody can possibly be this stupid.
The Vagabond is far from invincible, don't expect CCP to nerf a ship you continually fail to kill because of your own shortcomings as a pilot.

Curse and Huginn can speedtank just as well as the vaga (if not better due to nos/webs)

Let me guess you didn't train Minmitar skills so now you expect all pilots who trained hard and long in their minnie skills to be nerfed because you chose a different race to train for?

I dont see how they are over powered.
I tanked 2 of them in my myrmidon untill they had to warp out due to syntries (sp).
I may have been able to take one out if I had fit a webber and brought some medium drones.
Keep in mind, there were 2 of them, and they couldnt even break 1 BCs tank, and they were able to tank the syntries for a few minutes.
Personally I think anyone with a decent tank could handle a vagabond, they seem not to have the DPS of other HACs to make up for thier speed and survivability.
Thats what I make of them from my own encounters.

Lol. So, training to fly a HAC well, which usually involves, what, 10 million skill points, qualifies someone as a noob?

Minimatar needs to lose 30 percent of its damage, because of how much of speed bonus it gets. Then it will be on par with other races.

also I don't fly them because they are pretty weak compared to anything with a web
it's a watse to have a speed mod in there for my taste
and they don't do as much dps as the other matar HAC
oh and lets nerk the cheeta lol

kk,im not going to laugh in ur face, i am however going to argue against you..
you say you want risk, vagabonds are the riskiest hacs to fly. sure they have high survivability but thats only if u know what ur doing. For a vagabond to not totally suck nowadays u or need great skills/implatns or an pretty expensive fit.
Also, u need to be a pretty nice pilot (not noob ) to master ur vaga so it doesnt run into web range of a gang ( 2 ships is really hard for a vag )
Unless u know what ur doing in ur vag and u have invested some money, Any old semi-fast ship could catch you ( if they know what there doing ) .So no, vagabonds do not need a nerf at all.

LOL... vagabond has dps? I read a post a while back about 2 vagabonds not being able to kill a afk raven in 2 minutes. AFK. He wasnt even having hardeners on or boosting the shield.
I can fly it and I dont even want to.

The vagabond isn't really overpowered, its just all the faction and deadspace mods that make it really formidable. Nobody will ever let you nerf their "shinies" though. |
