Just so you all don't think I've given up the fight.. I'm still here, no correspondence from Eclipse yet.
Hope they respond soon, I have to be up for work in... .. 4 hours. >.<

We do not have direct communication with Eclipse but if a customer of this ISP wants to pass along that they can change the BGP route that they use to reach us to go through L3, our secondary pipe.
OUR AS number for BGP is 35834
There are 2 BGP routes to get to us those being 22822 for Lime Light (which apparently is giving you problems) and 3356 for L3.
If you could please tell your ISP to change there routes for our AS number "35834" to use AS number "3356" that will route you gents to our secondary pipe.
Dude, did you just talk to end customers about your Autonomous System number? That's pretty hardcore.

I've been getting dropped all day. Really ****ing me off. I've found using a proxy helps a bit, but not 100%. Hope this gets sorted soon.

I tried logging on this evening... crashed a few times but got in after a few tries. Then I kept disconnecting in space, once whilst I was trying to fight a Moa that was being remote boosted by an Osprey.
Fortunately, the laughably underpowered Moa was unable to kill my Drake whilst I was out of game. Once I was back in, I couldn't kill it either, thanks to the remote shield boost and the puny DPS of even a "gank" HAM Drake. So I waited for him to cap out, then warped off.
After that, I reset my router... and since then, everything's been absolutely peachy! No problems at all!

Hello again, folks. A work day over, I'm back on the case. No word from Eclipse yet, so I guess their internal services chaps don't work 24/7 (Not a big shock, but I had a little bit of hope there still)... The tech support lines open in 40 minutes, so I imagine that's when the fiddlyboys start, too.
Once again, I'll be keeping you informed throughout the day.

Okay, support lines are open at Eclipse now. So let's hope we see some progress in the next hour or so.
Can anyone else confirm for me that they are still experincing this issue? Thanks.

Edited by: Maceross on 16/08/2007 08:29:52 Hi Xal,
Im at work myself now, so unfortunately I cant check anything myself until later. Good luck with it and keep up the good work... If you do get this fixed I will personally donate 5 million isk to you (the insurance money from my last ship lost to this problem).
Thanks again for all your hard work so far.

All working for me so almost a happy bunny. I say almost, because CCP just refused my petition to replace my ship lost during this nightmare "connection lost" period.
I would sup with the devil and forget to use a long spoon if it led to me spitting on the grave of nationalism.

That is unfortunate, as by CCP's own admission, there's been a problem out-of-game that caused the loss of in-game items. It is a bit dissapointing, frankly. :(

Finally, a chance to do something *other* than what the wife wants me to do >.<
So anyway, I managed to get on the server earlier just fine, stayed connected (While idle, admitadly) for 2 hours. Seemed just fine when I started to do things, too.
Is there anyone else still suffering from this problem? If so, I will continue to work diligently with Eclipse to get it totally sorted out. If not, I guess we can call it a day and get back to swimming through space.
Please, let me know if you are having problems.

Hi, my attention was bought to this issue by a corp member, I am with Eclipse using static IP's and have not had any issues over the last couple of days. Could it just be effecting dynamic IP's?

Sorry for the delay, was dealing with lunch and such.
As far as I know, most of us are on static IP's already. I know I am.
As to the other nvidia driver recommendation. As much as I appreciate input, drivers for video-cards have nothing to do with this issue whatsoever. But thank you all the same.
As for the last poster, can you confirm if you're with Eclipse for me? (Sorry if you did already, I have an awful memory for names)

I'm also on a static IP so that wasn't the problem
I say "wasn't" because I've been logged in all day now and not a single disconnect. Also been downloading full speed all day whilst on EVE. Everything appears to be working absolutely perfect.

Well I'm really glad to hear you're all able to connect again. I haven't tried it yet today, but I managed yesterday okay, from what I coudl tell. Evemon isn't having siezures anymore either, so it looks good. If today (Friday) goes good, I'll consider the problem to be solved, and I'll inform Eclipse that it's all NFAR.

Eve is suffering from database issues atm, probably unrelated but there you are.
Apart from that my connection seems to be staying up....for how long is anyones guess.
I used to be quite calm about connection problems....not any more though. I've had quite enough of being patient. Being patient just seems to cost me isk and ships.
Yes I'm whining. Normal service will be resumed tomorrow, or perhaps the next day.

I'm with Eclipse and have been having these problems today (and previously too); I don't know whether the Lime Light routing change did occur or not, but the problem seems to persist. It was able to connect just now but was down when I tried to change a skill this morning (but the server was fine).
