Revelations 2.2 will be published at the end of August or the beginning of September and will include a number of enhancements and changes. Among the changes are some needed increases to ship and module stats.
Want to know what ships are getting boosted, or what is happening to Nosferatus? How about the changes made to POS batteries, wrecks or corpses? Find out in the new blog, More Balancing Changes for Revelations 2.2.

Quote: Corpse and Wreck Bumping Using corpses and wrecks to "warp scramble" ships has been an increasing problem. Unfortunately, improving our physics engine - Destiny - requires resources we don't have for the foreseeable future, so that small objects would the expected, negligible effect on larger objects. Instead corpses and wrecks will be immaterial, ships will pass through them without becoming stuck.
HUZZAH!
hopefully in the future you can use those advanced physics, good to know your keeping them in mind for what, in 4 years maybe? hopefully? This fixes so many silly problems :) but I'm sure someone will whine about it :P

Will this affect cloaked ship in any way? (specificly on the decloaking part)

It was pretty silly that a 200kg corpse could block the path of a 1,175,000,000 kg freighter.
Will the corpses still decloak a covert ops?

The damnation just became a joke.
Seriously. It's a caracal with a tank. In fact, on the caracal you have lows to use for bcu's - so I take it back; the caracal has more DPS.

Edited by: Darpz on 21/08/2007 00:59:57 any chances of a look at the Eris anytime soon? was tied with the heretic as the worst dictor and now shares that roll alone. Heritic Flycatcher and Sabre are all pretty even, so why not give up the failed split weapons idea for the dictors up since the eris is the only one left with a split weapons platform.
only 1 pur gunboat dictor so mine as well make the eris one as well.
something like
7Turrents
bonus:
Dessie Bonus 10% optimal 7.5% Tracking
Dictor Bonus 5% Damage then bubble bonus
fitting to fit 7x125s and an MWD

Well I like these changes. They represent a few compromises. for instance giving turretslots, without a bonus though; nerf of the curse - hard but fair and so on
Well done I like it.

POS warfare is boring enough. The combination of a cyno jammer and improved POS guns will make invading a well defended system extremely unfun. It already takes a large battleship gang, a dedicated repping group and a lot of organisation to not die at well defended poses.
No one seems to think that killing endless modules and poses is fun, so why make it harder?

Its nice that you buffed caldari capship CPU, but the Nidhoggur needs a ton more CPU as well...
Also, tuxford said in his "Need for Speed?" blog earlier this year that you'd look at Beam Laser powergrid use. Is there a chance of getting this in by Rev 2.2?
