IRON, INVICTUS vs OXIDE
and
PURE vs DMC?
afaik... pure is not at war.
they are just sending roaming gangs into drone regions.. kinda like how triumvirate does roaming gangs into drone regions...
does that mean its Triumvirate vs DMC/Oxide/Intrepid Crossing/Etheral Dawn/Legion of Death ?
Question is... is oxide going to die alone?
According to some friends Pure did setup a pos 3-4 of days ago in between DMC and OXIDE territory. I think the pos was later destroyed.
keyword is "between" their territory, not in it... to me, if someone goes to war, they will actually try to attack station systems or systems which claim sovereignty.

Or you could read the entire post and see where I addressed the fact that nobody mentioned anything about that. Sounds to me they just got kinda bored and left.

Cyno jammers are near impossible to ***** with anything short of a miracle fleet if properly defended.
We only successfully took down XZH jammer when we had 160 snipers, because everytime their carriers came out we did so much DPS remote reps did nowhere near enough.

Edited by: Ashemi Darkhold on 06/11/2007 00:29:19 For the record on the attack on the POS, oxide did have several starbase gunners, and plenty of arty of every type. Iron and Invictus were warping in at sniping on the far side of the POS away from the warp disruptor battery, attempting at have all their snipers at 151km or more, so as to avoid being scrammed, but still within range of the other batteries. When targeted they naturally warped a several hundred off and were reped if damaged. Mind you we had few ship not trapped in station at the time because of the surprise attack, so the little support on the POS in question.
Even then under focused fire from the POS guns they had to move around often limiting efficiency, and naturally we got the ships that wandered to close. 2 hours of that and they did manage to take out 2 of the large batteries. Eventually their BS fleet just got too thin and they broke off that attack.
Just wanted to give a impartial account for those that asked.
Cheers

Btw, we're not there for the POS. It is a real shame one of your corps pulled the towers from 3 moons, but that's not our fault.

I remember my time in OXIDE, and now that the tag is off...
First, I never liked IRON. They were always far too arrogant for my tastes. They also whined about people ratting and mining in Venal. I don't see IRON on the Sov line there. Grow up, and quit whining about people ratting in space that you don't even control.
Secondly, OXIDE seems to doing much better than it was when I left. Before, I remember times we couldn't muster much support for allies, let alone anti-raids. Glad that the betrayal you have gotten at the hands of people who didn't deserve you guys has helped things along.
Now that that's over, I can also say that OXIDE can take IRON, if they get it together, and do what I know they can. I mean, IRON lost to MC, and had to take second place space in drone land (TBH, still crap). A year ago, I would have said impossible. Now, I say, put that failed one-trick pony out to stud. I hear Jita has just had a stall open up.
All that's left...

I have to Support my old Oxide Alliance and Say brother tap IRON AZZ. Don't this just remeind you of Japan attack on Peearl Harbor (US). Declare war on your door step. A 5 Min Standing to RED and move over 130 Ships into the B7 System and in the End its leaves the world of EVE to see the real back stabbers are. Attack friends the supported you in time of need. I think this is a clear Case for all to see that IRON is not one friends, even those that support them not, IRON is not even your friend. All the time I was in the Oxide Alliance there was peace between them and Oxide in many cases when others come under attack would be the one to respond the most. Even in the Fail case of MJ we showed up in big Numbers to support Friends and nor Friends ture and attack, well Cowardly IRON did not help at all in MJ war. But I am sure if Roadkill would have attacked IRON, Oxide would have aided them and now the are sure not known as the Biggest Backstabbers of EVE now. I hope and look forwar din time Oxide gets the last laugh in this matter and removed IRON, but you know head to heaad Iron (Cowards) would not even thought about attacking Oxide. I like to see Oxide and DMA bring Iron to there damn knees and p*ss on there graves. Remove Iron from Droneland.

My advice to Oxide is start putting Domination towers up with faction guns in a cyno jammed systems, this is what we faced in XZH, and you cant warp out to 700km because the guns can hit you pretty much anywhere on grid. ---

What goes around comes around!
I remember the time when oxide and DMC as a frontrunner were so very keen on kicking a new small alliance from the drone regions. Also i remember their diplo policy... Lets set all to blue, that will keep us save!!!! .... rite?!
times change, now oxide and DMC can show what they have been doing in the drone regions.
Ill be checking the sov map daily again
