As far as people crying BS about the blue on blue incident, I was online when it happened and the guy was really mad. I have no idea what they OXIDE pilot said but he got a reaction. I was also in the very first raiding gang sent in response and I can assure you we weren't there with a capital fleet ready to go to invade OXIDE......not that it really matters because I don't understand it anyway.

Here is what happened while I was at work yesterday. Peoke gave 24hours to OXIDE to make up our mind to join Atlas and after that we would be neutral. 24 hours came and went and OXIDE's HC made the choice not to merge with anyone. Next I think we figured the Smash window of blue had ended as Peoke had given and Macks (XO of OXIDE) had convo's with him while I was at work and we were told we were no longer blue. It may have been a dumb idea or way of thinking but anyone that knows Smash knows they are linked whole heartedly to Roadkill so I think the standings reset wasn't thought of as a suprise to Smashkill since Peoke had us set Neutral. If that was a stupid move by OXIDE leadership (Me) it wasn't meant as a blue on blue backstabbing thing and I think we are all smart men (and women) here and know normally when Smash comes knocking RK will be there as well. If that was viewed as a sneaky or messed up move I take the blame but I think Roadkill knows that was the case when smash reset us. So for anyone that isn't aware then Smashkill and Atlas and others have camped B-7 and Atlas has put up one or two towers. One of our corps that left us didn't bother to fuel a tower so the invaders have pounded that to smitherines. We don't have their numbers but we will fight to the last ship and pod. Oxide is making a stand we don't want to merge or be anyone's slaves. We were willing to be blue with RK and smash and DMC but for some reason that wasn't going to work in Peoke's eyes. I hold no grudges and I'm not going to smack talk. Nice to see a thread with us in it even if it means our demise or losing our home. Good luck my fellow Oxide pilots fight hard. In fact I believe Atlas told us that you had reset when we started asking wth was that all about (smacking pilot). Anywho I have to say I like your posts Drew, very upfront and not the usual CAOD flavour.

Atlas Get a life no one with a clear head want to join your weak alliance...you think you and your basement buddies can make your alliance grow by force by attacking another alliance, please not a single member of Oxide will be cowing down to you or no other basement couch buddy. Yeah that drug is just kickin in isn't buddy. Like I said this will be to the end, and ships will be lost. you (SMASHKILL, IRON, ATLAS) want to talk and get it the easy way but this one will come down to war and not a push over like others in your way. However out numbers a War will take place if attacked. 1 alliance stands alone and even I am more impressed by my old friend OXIDE and I Salute them regardless of the outcome. All of EVE is looking at this one and All will see the Future REDs (SMASHKILL, IRON, ATLAS)of EVE once we removes BOB in the South.....In Time NEXT TARGET VALE of SILENTS, GEMINATE, and the back Stabbers in the DRONE LAND. its just a matter of time for you as well. Oxide lost many of ships fighting with DMC to off stage PURE attack on DMC....I saw the kill boards, Oxide lost many ships to aide DMC in a losing cause. But Oxide has guts is all I can say. Oxide could have just laid down and let PURE cross their space uncontested and attrack DMC, but instead Oxide being a friend of DMC called all its forces home from the south fighting against BOB to protect their SOV. and their once friend DMC. They removed all their warriors from the South fighting against BOB to cover DMC AZZ. Even in the MJ war DMC did not respond to that battle but left many of the Drones alliance fighting alone, But Oxide yet again showed up in strong numbers..Its all facts. I know that the whole cassus belli thing for roadkill sounds like a joke, but strangely enough in this case it was true. Not something for Oxide to really feel bad about or regret, since it must have seemed completely obvious to them that we were coming for them. Just that we weren't. Now though, the die is cast.
