The Raven still only has a drone bay of 75m3, meaning it can only field 3 heavies or 5 med/small drones. Essentially no change from now, thus a moot point. The drone changes are great, and this is coming from a purely gallente specced pilot.

The following additions have been made to the features page:
Killmail Enhancements
Killmail Delivery Changes
ò Killmails will be delivered to your character sheet > combat log. ò Final blow participant and victim will receive the killmail as before ò Directors in player corps will be able to see all member kills and losses in the corporation interface > Wars section. ò Kills of starbase structures will be delivered to final blow participant and owning corp combat log. Note: Killmails received before trinity in your concord evemails will not be included in the new system.
Killmail Enhancements
ò Killmails will no longer truncate the involved parties. ò Killmails will now include rigs. ò Killmails will now include dropped as well as destroyed items. ò Killmails will include damage dealt for each involved party. ò Killmails will now be properly translated.
ò The Industrial Core and Capital Tractor Beam modules have been restricted to fit only to Capital Industrial Hulls, the CPU has been lowered to 100 and CPU bonus effect has been removed from the Rorqual.
The following additions and changes have been made to the patch notes:
Additions ò Push-to-talk button settings are no longer saved per client, but per account. ò A font kerning issue that occurred when adding special characters to the shipÆs name has been fixed. ò The UI timer for jamming will no longer exceed 20 seconds. ò A newly deployed starbase will not have a forcefield bubble until a password is set and the UI shows the forcefield as 'active' (status can be seen on the panel you set the password on). ò The description of Reactor Arrays have been clarified. ò The consumption rate of Strontium Clathrates has been doubled for control towers in reinforced mode, which leads to the maximum reinforced times being halved to up to 2.5 days with all sovereignty bonuses (around 1.5 days with no bonuses). ò A minor issue with item exchange contracts not being able to identify stacks of items has been resolved. ò Clicking the "x" on the start page for contracts assigned now correctly clears the information in the window. ò Asteroids will no longer be extremely far from the center of the belt.
Changes All anchored containers in solar systems with security levels between 0.8 and 1.0 will be removed from space. Player owned cans will be moved into the character's home station (clone location). Corporation cans will be moved to the HQ. have been moved into their owner's hangar at the last station they visited.
You will now appear on killmails if you shoot only the drones of the target ship. Previously, only those firing on the ship itself would appear on the killmail.

Sure lots of new stuff, but why CCP have to turn useless the gallente recons ships in the process, how hard is not to do that?
Originally by: Patch Notes
The sensors have been optimized for locking up to 10 targets at a time, but with sensor strengths comparable to cruisers the Marauders can be jammed quite easily if they are not hardened with ECCM
The ECM strength bonus for the Falcon has been increased to 20%, the Scorpion, Blackbird and Griffin now have a 15% bonus.
The capacitor need of ECM modules has been reduced by 40%
Remote sensor dampeners have been reduced in effectiveness
So only who fly caldari can make effective EW against Marauders, why? Can CCP explain that?
Another thing that is sad, CCP ignore completely some of the feedback given by the players.
WOW new graphics!!!

2 Kieron: i have one, very important, question:
In patch notes we can see "Sansha mk 2 has been implemented; Sansha faction ships now focus exclusively on energy turrets exclusively and shield tanking. They receive a fixed 100% damage bonus to make up for the few hardpoints they have (which frees up utility high slots), as well as 7.5% tracking and 5% damage bonuses per level. "
What will be with ship Nightmare? It will be T2 Marauder? I saw its new characteristics, but skill requirements are the same, and bonuses too...BUT, there is a mistake. The ship hasn't now any launcher slots, but has bonus 5% to cruise missile speed per caldari BS skill level (correct please ) So, can you say what will be with skill requirements and bonuses for this "new" Nightmare? Thanks.
P.S.: i want old version of this ship :)

Quote: No, that's not in the notes - but the nothing but ammo rule in your maint array cans is in there.... And i'd almost bet that with bandwidth introduced on the lesser classes the drone nerf is covertly present. I'm debating doing a trade-in program, give people rorquals for their now nerfed carriers...
Quote: It will no longer be possible to use the cargohold of a ship stored in a ship maintenance array for additional storage. Only charges will be storable.
This is a one liner so i think it refers to all capital transport type ships RORQUAL included. not sure swopping carrriers for rorquals will overcome this nerf. (i know that it was tongue in cheek) but seriously is this nerf accross dreads, carriers motherships and rorquals? or just carriers/dreads?
Quote: Need for Speed (drones): The rate of fire for all drones has been doubled to decrease the number of server calls drones are making. Drone damage was doubled to balance the RoF change. Sentry drones and fighters are not affected by any of these changes.
ok maybe i have lost the plot. double rate of fire = double chanse of damage so you will then double the damage aswell so that makes it for times as powerful maybe drone nerf is not that bad 2 ogre II = 5 ogre IIs.
Should that not be RATE OF FIRE HALVED thus damage doubled?

This was answered above someplace... the Rate of Fire is measured in Seconds (Between Shots), so when the rate of fire is doubled, it means the shots fired in a given period is halved... --------*****-------- It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face.

On SISI there's also changes to the way bounties and related security status changes are collected and allocated that don't appear to be mentioned in the patch notes...
Bounties are now grouped together into one credit to the players wallet and corp wallet for tax based on a per encounter entry.
Mouse over on the transaction entry will give a breakdown of the number of ships destroyed granting bounty.
The credit of the bounty to the player is delayed (probably to allow time for DED to confirm the amount and allocate funds to the correct participants?)
Security Status changes are also delayed pending confirmation of the activity
So if these changes also are implemented in Trinity patch coming don't be surprised if your wallet doesn't blink as much and the balance increase as frequently and instantly as before ... threw me a little at first

I am sick to my stomach and sadned to see what ccp has done to the EOS. The Tech 1 Vexor now has the same drone capabilities as the tech 2 EOS, Not to mention the fact that a HAC(Galente can not walk circles around the EOS in drone bay space. so basically the EOS is done with Drones you might as well not even put drones on cuase they are just something else yur going to lose when you pop. And you will pop considering that not only di d they nerf the EOS drones they also cut the turret hard points down to 5. So basiaclly the EOS is good if you like doing lvl 2 missions and having extra unused high slots for salvagers.
I know what yur going to say, Well man you got 3 gang modules!! Right have you ever equipped gang Modules, the bonus they give you is pathetic. For example the armor resistance gang module gives you a whopping 1% gain to yur resistance. 1% for crying out loud unless off course you have a MINDLINK which will give you 2%
So let's see 80 million isk ship and 5 months of training to use gang modules and then IF you happen to be in a gang you can Buff 4 gang mates max by 2% at a cost of 25 energy per cycle. What a joke.
You know and that isn't even the point, the point is that ccp keeps making it harder and harder to solo anything,. And be honest how many people log in and just want to play the dang game and have fun,. they don't want to log in and take a survey of who all else is on and then find out what everyone else wants to do, and then if everyone happens to be ready at that time then you get to play, otherwise you just sit in the station and chat.
SCREW GANGS AND CORPS HOW ABOUT SOME LOVE FOR THE INDIVIDUALS, THE SOLO PILOTS!
How about a safe space Habitat module for non BLOB players, that play in npc corps. How about and unemploeed status so anarchis can leave their corp. leave the NPC Corp and trully be free men.
But MOSt of all How about giving DRONE ONLY, or DRONE INtenisive characters the ability to choose to give up turrets for more bandwidth for drones so they can actually use some of their 6 million sp in drones in something besides a battleship or a mothership/
Is it the goal of ccp to drive all drone pilots to motherships, is that what ccp want huge blobs of motherships. Infact Caldari Motherships since every one is going to have to be caldari to make enough money to afford a mothership they might as well just stay Caldari and get a Caldari mothership.
No wait I figured it out, They owners of Eve are Actually in Real Life Caldari Marroned here in a crash landing in Roswell, New Mexico, and they are trying to get everyone so used to losing to Caldari superiority that when their Mother ship does arrive to pick them up we will not even fight back cuase we will already know that it is a lost cuase!! That is it the Conspiracy is to Make Caldari's the supreme Race of all the others so everyone sooner or later joins them or at least does not fight back against them.
I am SURE the New Graphics of my EOS Exploding are going to be spectacular, Hooray.
I got both thumbs up for ccp for new graphics and faster speeds etc etc..
But I got two fingers up too for the DRONE NERF. I will let you guess which two. wink wink

I wont be going through all the reasons why. A lot of other players have writen about it and where completly ignored. So the only thing lest to say is.... its a sad day for my eve game play.

I've heard many people complain the same thing, but CCP have already got an answer. If you look at the technology that these ships use to travel faster than light, the ship is technically not in the same "dimension" if you will, there is a bubble surrounding the ship that has no matter in it at all, so everything passes through it faster than it normally would, even in space. There are also more than one way to steer a ship in space. They could use Nozzled thrusters to turn the ship.
All this and much MUCH more info can be found here http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2//pdf/eve_v1.4_black.pdf

What the hell are you talking about? have you looked at the gang modules? Have you ever used one? the armored warfare - passive defense link, is what i assume your talking about. When you fit it, on the Amarr cmd ship, its gives 10-20% boost to all armor resists, that is pretty good. And you can give it to a whole fleet, not just 4 people? Where the hell did you get 1% ???? Besides that, the Eos uses the information warfare links.
I am all for *****ing and moaning. But at least complain about the right stuff, and don't just randomly guess at numbers, to make your complaints sound valid.

I can understand the part about "we don't want POSes to be in reinforced for 3 days", as reinforced is (IIRC) only meant to move an attack from a bad TZ to a better TZ for you, not to muster forces and move defenses into place.
That is, I did expect something like this. I just expected them to reduce the stront bay size, not increase the stront consumption amount
Also, boo! for removing the "shooting drones gets you on kill mails" thing.
Otherwise: AWESOME! Seriously. CCP, this expansion is AWESOME.

That is because the Eos is a .....gasp.... FLEET COMMAND SHIP!
It is not in any way intended to be a solo wtfpwnmobile!
Its role is supposed to be to provide warfare link support to its fleet, while having good tank to protect itself and some relatively limited form of self-defence weapons. You should also not put the wrong gang modules on it. FYI, the EOS is specialised for the Information Gang modules, not the Armor ones.

Carriers are not transports/freighters. You shouldn't be able to use the same ship for solo PvP, group PvP, PvE, AND transporting your goods. There shouldn't a single ship that does everything.
Finally some wise words about the carrier nerf!
I'm getting tired of all those people whining about it. You've done the right thing CCP. Carriers are meant for battle, not logistics. I've never seen a carrier in real life used for transporting planes filled with exotic spices or something similar. Using carriers for logistic purposes in EVE ruins the spirit of the game, as does any other trick that's unrealistic/weird, like bumping a larger ship away with a shuttle or some other small ship, or using a login trap, logging off to escape death, basicly things that your imagination can't see happening for real in several thousands of years from now, we are trying to simulate the future, aren't we? It's not just about playing a game to win with any means necessary regardless of how unlogical the strategy sounds if this universe were real.
Otherwise we could just make flying donuts or something shooting blobs of sugar at each other. So thank you CCP for making sure the game makes sense.
I don't understand the complaints anyway, CCP gave you jumpfreighters in return, didn't they? What's wrong with using them instead? Looking at it in a way I just described, using JF's makes much more sense.
