After being told for 5 years that the new San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge would be opening this Labor Day, it is now going to open in December....maybe.

I feel your pain

I lost my main's Tengu last week to a similar noob error.

Investigating our static C1 as I always do. But decided to scout in my main for once in her Tengu instead of using an alt in a cov-ops. Entered system, cloaked and brought up the system's details on eveeye and began to read up while warping to a random celestial.

"WARNING: Bubble traps active in system" says a big alert message at the top of the system's eveeye page. "Oh, scary" I thought, paying little more attention. I keep reading about the system as my ship comes out of warp. A few moments later "WHOOP WHOOP" shield warning. Huh? Struggle to close ingame browser, accidently confuse myself and end up switching windows between various alts before returning to my main. "Ah ****" in a bubble trap at a POS. Small bubble too, uggg. Align out of it, burn baby baby burn. Pointed. Uggg neutted. Uggg webbed. Uggg my Tengu...

Will leave the fail tale there.

It's all a matter of perspective- when I run into a bubble, I usually try to pull a Rohrschach. But most of the time, it doesn't work so well

Sure is a lot of DPS on that expedition compared to all the other expeditions from high sec 'Watch' sites.

Course it is Gallente space and we all know how CCP just luvs to fuc with Gallente.

This afternoon I flipped off a snail. I kept doing it for like an hour and a half before he crawled behind a flower pot.

"Yeah," I said, flipping one more time, "you better run away like the scared cat you are. Little whiney scaredy cat snail. I'll mess you up next time! I'll cut you!"

Then I went inside and ate a doughnut and sat on the edge of my bed and stared at the carpet for a couple of hours.

There is a a High Sec Expedition coming off one of the Sansha combat sites here in Derelik. I forget the initial site, but the first stage of the following expedition (I think it's called "State of the Nation") almost lost me my faction Raven.

It had been a really long time since that happened. It didn't involve triggers either, it was just the initial onslaught itself was overwhelming. Warp-away made the site vanish, so I'm not quit sure what the intent is, except for a gang possibly doing the expedition (for real CCP ? really ?)

I'll let you know if I get the expedition again.
