I've had it for over a decade, but for those without SimCity 4 it's on Steam's Summer Sale today for $5.99 !
It's the 'Deluxe' version with the Rush Hour Expansion included.
Let's push the sales figures to beat the awful new EA version of SimCity. |

oh, i haz friendz? Thanks.
Spent past week updating fleet doctrine...since i found my corp was using pre Odessy fits and not figuring why bad things happened etc. Some times i wonder...since the experienced people did not do this for the new people if i am the only one that realizes that most new people completely trust corp fittings...
But i just can't convince myself to make Riffffffffffffffter fits. Plus, Alliance chat is dull without Com Kate to give slightly sexual complements based on how she cleans up well in char portraits and then have the rest of alliance proceed to ? Lets be friends?

Here's hoping that D.C isn't far behind them. The feds could use a great deal of restructuring, starting with just about every department in the demonic alphabet.
More apt on the Detroit front: Start-ups here are thriving now that the local government is too weak to impose their nonsense. The Detroit-ruin **** is just a media campaign is nothing more than pro-government propaganda. The people who fled the city are bureaucrats and leeches on the state teat (not to mention a whole lot of the vagrants and criminals who thrived on the scummy public system).
Basically, anyone who has their fingers on the pulse of Detroit knows that this is what we all hoped for. The longer the public sector stays in atrophy here, the more innovative private solutions develop, the better off we will all be. My neighborhood used to be awash in crime. Now we're being covered by private security that is cheap, and FAR more effective than the boys in blue ever were. And before you go accusing them of being blood-thirsty mercenaries: They haven't killed anyone in the 4+ years they have been operating. Detroit PD shot someone on a daily basis. If you need more evidence that the private solution is always better, there are plenty around here and we're coming up with new ones daily.
Of course, you won't hear any success stories on the news, but there are bloggers covering it locally. Not exactly the furtive libertarian paradise of anyone's dreams, there are still state and federal thugs circling the carcass and our wallets, but compared to the majority of metropolitan areas it's heaven on earth. |
