Tiger Would wrote:So I set myself a goal:

Without help I wanted to start my own corporation specialising in events and create another corp in which I wanted to recruit at a certain point. This other corporation would than be used as a adventure. Just take in new players and discover (theory in head just little practice) EvE as we go. This would create extra challenge. It would also allow for maybe finding new ways to do things. (One might be reinventing the wheel at some point, but this is IMO how new ways are coming into existence)

Another reason behind this is, I seen that IMO the picture of EvE gameplay that radiated outwards was one that was rather onesided. I have been trying multiple times do give different aspects a face also.

For example, Ive tried to set up a counter for Hulkageddon (hillbillageddon), run for CSM 7 ...ON AN ALT....
And now trying to rally up the younger corporations to form a resistance.

Tiger, I suspect you and I will never see eye to eye on many matters, and I really can't address all the issues in your post, but I want to say that I seriously think the part I quoted above is the right approach to things, and a genuinely good idea. While I did not personally take part in the highsec gankings (not because of any moral issue, but I didn't have the time or the characters in my accounts for it), I do think the people doing them would have enjoyed the extra challenge that this would have brought. It really is a respectable response that would have enhanced the gameplay for everyone involved.

As for the moderation on these forums, I think every single goon will agree that it is terrible, though maybe for different reasons. And before I go any further, I want to apologize in advance to the ISD volunteers who do the best they can with a history of CCP moderation tainting every action. In any case, it is completely inconsistent, even capricious in nature, and it encourages a lack of respect for the forums among everyone who has gotten screwed over by it.

However, I do think it's hard to start a civil conversation with a shot like, "Group X needs to go." You really can't expect a civil response to that.

To be fair, though, I have also had my share of frustrations with Eve and it's hard not to lash out at people when that happens.

Okay, there's my realtalk response. After this, I reserve the right to troll!

It would be boring as hell if we where to see eye to eye on everything, and would not be able to mock you over the differences when they rise.

The title was the hard thing, it needed to be propaganda, it needed that people would start thinking to themself....you know what....I am picking up this pitchfork and at the same time make you guys "Mad" enough to sollicit a response while keeping within self proposed boundries (lets call it that) so I could troll in between driving the point further home that you need to get shot at and rally up people to get on the opposing site of things.

And you do need to get shot at

 I've heard similarly from a friend .

Then, there is Chronic Pulmonary Obstructive Disease (COPD), which affects millions. It is ultimately fatal and/or shortens one's lifespan unless caught/remedied -- you can't reverse the damage though -- in its early stages. Some people, at that point, manage okayish -- unless they have a flare triggered by the flu, allergies, pneumonia etc.

Otherwise, having low-oxygen and breathing capacity puts a damper -- to put it mildly -- on quality of life.

Not preaching, I'm a smoker too-- and wish I'd known about COPD years prior. Most people think smoker-induced disease happens late in life. Unfortunately, that's not often the case.

Well, truth be told "grandma" was actually a corpie ( killed via another toon) but I had to alter the sig lest it reflect poorly on my current corp.

It was brutal, but hey, he was in structure from the locals anyway. Prior to that the dude checked his PI at a gate camp --and on my **** list. So, yeah, it was deserved.

Sorry to burst your bubble sir. I choose to not be around uncivil people. That is quite a difference. But of course, you are allowed to interpret it that way. And since you here, let me try to let you grasp the basics of what is civil. Read through this thread from page 250 onward. You will see all kinds of arshattery thrown around. I love that, seriously do. But you sir and the rest of that poor excuse for humanity are crossing the line of arshattery into personal insults. Still ok with that to, because I dont care what you think. But when the company that takes my money shows to be inconsistent and allows alcohol and drug abusing poor excuses of human beings crossing that line while at the same time asking...."to keep it civil". ... It becomes a rational choice. No rage envolved, but doubt it will penetrate your skull to understand such concept Just making sure truth has been told. Continue to feel glorious again! Toodles
Liked this post for reasons other than the thread rules.
