Finished Part 1 of the Minmatar Epic Arc !
The Two Moments:
One room starts out with fighting Angel Cartel, so I was all tanked up for Kinetic/Therm. Then it switches to an Amarr Fleet. My shield EM resist on the Golem was....zero ! I was fine after I flew back to re-tank.
Another one required one warp-away and back to within 100k and then it went fine.
That's it so far. Really. But I can see why people were always saying "bring a few friends" for doing the Arcs. If I wasn't Level V in everything I would have definitely needed help. Ok,
My tech genius mother just shoved her mobile connection sim-card in her laptop saying "there was a hole that it fitted so i thought it was meant to go there" and now it's loose inside the laptop and i got the privilege to get it out.. So i will be ripping a laptop apart and putting it back together

Weird quote of the day.
From an article about the oversupply of mushrooms (for eating) in California:
What do matsutakes taste like? Raw and fresh from the ground, they are crisp and a bit peppery, with a faint hint of celery.
When cooked, Cook said, their mix of cinnamon spiciness and organic funk comes to the fore, making them, for some, an acquired taste.
" 'A provocative compromise between Red Hots and dirty socks,' " Cook said, quoting another author and mushroom devotee, David Arora. I guess I'm lucky. My (wonderful) mother would be too terrified to even try such a thing ! She still thinks a computer will just crumble to dust if you so much as look at it. My mate did all 4 in a rattlesnake with an MJD. Get out, let them come to you and your sentries.

Oh yes. A whole lot of Christian groups threw a hissy fit over it too. As they will do. Made headlines for awhile in Cali.
Of course the idea of The Last Supper is hardly Copyright Controlled So they can whine about their 'ownership' of the idea all they want. More useless head-pounding on the wall from them. For real.
I like Derelik, with the Amarr Nebula reduced to maybe 1/8 of the sky. And a little patch of Minmatar Red on the other 'side'.
Kor-Azor, Khanid, and Tash-Murkon have the best high sec skies (although the Gallente nebula is nothing to sneeze at.). But you gotta admit Cherry Blossom Season is spectacular. It was spectacular enough in Golden Gate Park and San Francisco proper. They are all over the place there. Apparently in Tokyo they even illuminate the trees at night in different colors and all that. (There are some in Washington DC around the (almost forgotten) Jefferson Memorial, IIRC).
In fairness, pachinko was always annoying to begin with. It sounds like a rain of ball bearings. "I think you should buy a new Mayan calendar. Mine has muscle cars on it." --áKenneth O'Hara

Yup. And it's almost cliche for filmmakers to use Pachinko Parlors to depict 'chaos'. The scene in "Lost in Translation" when they run through the arcade.
Wim Wenders did the exact same thing first in his film "Tokyo Ga-Ga" in 1981.
