Yup. And it's almost cliche for filmmakers to use Pachinko Parlors to depict 'chaos'. The scene in "Lost in Translation" when they run through the arcade. Wim Wenders did the exact same thing first in his film "Tokyo Ga-Ga" in 1981. (But then the Copolla family has a long history with Wim Wenders so it could have been homage on the part of Sophia for "Uncle Wim"). (Copolla's Cafe in San Fran even has a Wim-Burger on the menu).

lol. I remember that from MTV's "120 Minutes" Show !
Also, the Wim-Burger seems to have vanished from the menu, but I'm sure they can make one if asked.
http://www.cafecoppola.com/cafezoetrope/ Not to be missed. And it is not expensive at all. (Well, the wines can be of course).
The stairs leading down to the restrooms are lined with framed production photos. The best one is a gigantic hulking Marlon Brando filling most of the frame in his black "Apocalypse Now" robes, with a little tiny Geo Coppola clinging to his back, peering over his shoulder like a little human monkey ! Actually, I rarely watch movies made before 1968. The movie industry is pretty much historically divided into 2 separate entities by that pivotal year. So my specialty tends to be those films made in the 70s and 80s.
But of course I watch most of those older films that are well known but it really takes me effort to get up the gumption to actually watch them, but almost every single time it's been astonishing.
I seriously dreaded watching the Gregory Peck/Audrey Hepburn fluff-piece "Roman Holiday". But it was hysterical ! All of these latter day Rom-Com writers could learn lessons from it on how that kind of thing is done.
And "Sunset Boulevard" is just a delight of a freak-show. A David Lynch film before there was a David Lynch. It's all there.
And "Lawrence of Arabia". Just wow. Lean's "Dr. Zhivago" though is better appreciated when one is older for some reason. Funny how that works.
