20 million's still a fortune to me, too.
I remember, in 2009, there were these nice folks who invited me to their mining fleet.
I was doing that in a Burst or something, and, that's one of the only times I've been in a fleet. Anyway, at the end of those couple of hours, the Orca pilot went back and sold the ore, and I got 10 million out of it.
Now, I'd struggled to get 1 million in ISK beforehand, and Cruisers seemed totally out of reach for me. So the first thing I did with that, was wasting all the money buying a Scythe.
I think I fitted it with 1MN Afterburners and Cargo Expanders, and went to try do PI.
That made me super happy, but, I didn't really have RL money for EVE back then, so I didn't make another 10 million ISK until I started over in 2011.

Yeah, it's all subjective.
I'm the type who finances 90% of their EVE with RL monies, when I made Savi I threw a billion or so straight at her for clothes, tatts, nice implants, etc. 
So I'm not doing any of this entry-level stuff hoping to make profits from it, though I am trying not to supplement he characters with ISK injections or transfers from my mains too much. But meh, all about fun at the end of the day and it's nice to see some new pilots bouncing around with their new-found ISK, going to buy Stabbers to mine with and god knows what else.
