That's a calculator, plug in what components you have picked out and it should tell you how large a power supply you'll need. Whatever it tells you, add some more just in case you get a different GPU down the line that might use more power.

What you could do is get a smaller SSHD and put ONLY your OS on it, then get a larger HD to store files. The PC set up I was looking to buy has a 250GB SSHD for the OS and a 4TB HD for the rest... Just a thought

I have 128GB SSD + few normal HDDs. On SSD I run OS + few games, rest is for media. Works great. But I would buy a 256GB SSD, the price is way lower than it was 1.5 year ago. |

I think 16GB of RAM is a bit overkill, I run 8GB and never had problems with low ram. But I dont run on Windows. Power Supply I feel like something with ~750W is enough if you run single graphic card. Corsair one maybe? :-) |

GPU : IMO GTX970 has the best value for money at this time, would get one myself if I could find one of the smaller ones, that triple fan thingy is just ridiculous :D
CPU : I would go for any of the cheaper i7 models, again best value for money IMO
SSHD : got no experience with these, running 128GB SSD for OS and few softwares + older HD for other stuff myself
paste : looks like the fan has paste included so why bother for extra ;)
