Had a headache this morning which I tried to quell with coffee and food. Felt progressively worse up until lunch time. Someone brought a fried eggroll dish up from the deli on 2, realize the bacon and eggs from breakfast is not going to take the expected route out of my system after all. Rush to the Men's room, deposit bacon and eggs in the facility, clean up, email the boss I'm going home.
Get home about 12:30, take a long cold shower, climb into bed and sleep best I can in my hot bedroom for 6 hours.
Been up and motating about 3 by now, had some noodles and broth for dinner, still have the headache but the nausea is gone, thankfully. Still hot as blazes in the house, don't expect to get a good night's sleep tonight. More "record breaking" high temperatures forecast the rest of the week.

Haven't gotten your AC fixed yet, eh? You know you can buy window systems for pretty cheap? Texas heat sux I'm sure.
Mine has been out for about a year, but I hardly used it anyway. I sometimes start choking around AC. But I have one of those window systems on my front porch in case it climbs over 107 degrees or something. Though it's just over 114 it starts to bug me. I've been out hiking in 110 a number of times in the past, lots and lots of water of course.
Sick from food sux, have had that happen a number of times eating off the roach coach at work years ago. Bro, if you're over 30, switch to oatmeal in the morning, does wonders over time. Though I recommend at any age. Eggs are really good too (don't believe that 'eggs are bad for you' crap) , but now-a-days I tend to cook them really well, often even boil hard. Undercooked bacon is terrible for you, likely the cause. Old eggrolls can be nasty too, have gotten sick from those a couple times.

Thanks for the concern from those that expressed it. Feeling much better this morning. My AC is working as well as it can, got a new attic unit put in a few years back. Problem is the system itself is designed for a somewhat smaller house, and my room is on the back, exposed on 3 walls, and the air doesn't get back to the return in the front room adequately enough to keep my room cool. It's typically at minimum 5 degrees warmer back there than the rest of the house.
Webby, if I recall correctly, I'm a couple years older than you. I'm actually having oatmeal this morning. Loves me da oatmeal. Used to do oatmeal all the time. Not sure why I switched away. Usually if it's not oats for breakfast it is eggs. And the bacon I got did seem undercooked a bit. I'm fairly certain it was the bacon, due to the nausea immediately vanishing once that was gone.
Anywho, not to gross anybody out.
