Zinrix GoonFleet GoonSwarm	Posted - 2008.03.03 03:09:00 - [1] This is a subject that has deeply troubled me as of late. I for one am offended by by this constant stream of anti-Goonswarm propaganda. These haters are always making up lies and half-truths to dirty our good name. I have flown with Goonfleet for some time and they always fight with honour. We may not be the richest in space, but we still fight on against players with more than twice as much experience as us so that the rest of Eve can be free and safe from the dominating influence of these elitists. We always fight for honour and glory! Now that BoB is losing, the propaganda machine is in full force. This business called "JihadSwarm" for example, does not even exist. It is an elaborate attempt by BoB-friendly players to make us look like uncultured ruffians to the good people of high-sec. There have been many cases just like this. I urge all thinking people to reject these attempts on our reputation.

I'm not going to judge them one way or the other, because it is currently a legal game mechanic and anything that might combat isk selling is OK in my book, but the fact that you're trying to deny that your alliance has any involvement is outright ludicrous.

Everywhere I go, someone is complaining about getting suicide ganked by goons. I dont care one way or the other, but atleast be honest about what your people are doing ffs.... But I'm sorry to say that my own experiences, both directly and passed on by others, with your alliance can not allow me to believe you. First and foremost, your alliance (or it's allies) uncovered a personal note of mine on a FIX private forum which I only meant for a few. The result of which I received much derision on the forums, particular from you alliance and this also lead to taunting of FIX as a whole. I'm sure you'll find it, either on your forums or SHC. I'm told and have seen myself how much vileness was directed at that post (and others I made to my defense) and myself. Second, many of your members treat their enemies within these forums with very little respect, your post is different, I applaud you for that, but a vast majority abuse this forum (threadnaughts, etc.) and it's members. Others may be playing the propaganda game as you said, unjust as your example states. But the high road is the best road to take. Third, you may contradict me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding the Goons are out to destroy this game. I believe that killing should be limited to low sec, 0.0, and wardecs. I understand there is much controversy here, and I'm not that hardcore of a PVPer (pretty much the opposite actually). Creed Richards Your eloquent and well-thought out post is wasted here This thread doesnt deserve a response as good as this As usual, Mr ishkabibble, you offer nothing to the conversation but negativity and pettiness. I would like to thank Creed Richards for his fine post and his honest concerns. It is true that this war is bitter, but this is primarily because when it started, we were fighting an uphill battle against established powers who cannot tolerate newcomers and low-SP players in general. That discrimination against us has caused a great deal of anger and this anger has fueled the present war. This is a war for respect. I am unfamiliar with the instance in which you were treated with disrespect, but I can assure you that this behavior is NOT the norm for Goonfleet. The majority of Goons are friendly, good-natured, and sensitive to the feelings of others. Finally, as was explained previously, the matter of the hulks is an elaborate attempt at anti-goonswarm propaganda.

If goons have such a good name, why are they ganking hulks in high sec... getting tired of BoB kicking your arses perhaps? As I explained earlier, this hulk-ganking "JihadSwarm" business is an utter fabrication by bored or desperate members of the opposing faction. The killmails posted are fake. Goonswarm would not endorse such an act of pure malicious sabatoge. If any members of Goonfleet were EVER to do such a thing, they would, no doubt, be kicked from the corporation by Sesfan himself, who is as some may know, number one.
