I have been unable to really use my second account on my laptop since the patch. Pre-patch FPS around 30, now FPS is 6-10. Operating in 0.0 with gatecamps at that frame rate totally sucks, and is basically unplayable.
My laptop is running Classic Client, and I've tried turning off and minimizing everything I can do, with no change in frame rate.

Hi CCP Devs who are all at work on this issue, Please make some Nice tech 2 pos gun batteries and some T2 tier2 ships and perhaps everyone will forget about this issue , as its what your good at doing..... covering up mistakes.

C'mon CCP. I know you can do it. Honesty and integrity will take you a long way. At the very least, reply to our cries for help and let us know where you stand on this issue, so we can make an informed decision upon what to do. Your game is awesome, but you need to respond to your customers. If you can't do it yourself, hire me to do it, or hire others to do it. Inform us as to what you are doing regarding this issue. I personally believe that you are hard at work at something, and probably don't want to delve into what it is, but WE THE PEOPLE, deserve an answer.

I fear there is a very good reason why we are not hearing anything on this issue, almost two weeks after the patch. I think that the last patch rolled out something which will later be used to implement either (a) ambulation (b) planetary interaction (might explain the links between moons and poor FPS) (c) both, and that CCP have no intention of rolling it back as this would negatively impact on these much touted new elements to the game. If they were to come out and say this, those of us unwilling/unable to upgrade would be offski very quickly. I wonder how many people have not cancelled accounts in the last two weeks in the hope the problem would be resolved and how much income this has retained for CCP?
Baseless speculation perhaps, cynical maybe, but I'm yet to hear a better answer.
Come on CCP, tell us what's going on.

I check this thread from time to time just to see how far ccp amateurism goes.
Already my main account expired and this 2nd one has some time left till is gone, i canceled my both accounts due to this problem, simply the game can't be played after the last patch.
I don't plan to return either because i think this company doesn't deserve my money and already got hooked by another game.

I suggest that everybody(!) with low FPS sends in a bug-report every day right after downtime. Receiving every day hundreds or thousands of bug-reports with nearly same content should convince them to do something. At least the BugHunting-Team will kick the dev-teams ass to stop the bug-reports. It is really humbling to beg for response.

I'm having the same problem on my laptop which is running the classic client. Dropped from around 40fps in space to well below 15fps (T7250 dual core 2Ghz, 2GB RAM, ATI x1350 128MB).
My desktop pc which is a bit faster and is running the premium client seems to be unaffected by this problem.

Pre-patch a consistent 30-40FPS, post patch as high as 30 if I aim my view away from all objects and background, down to as low as 1-2 FPS if I'm deep in a lot of action.
I have to play every mission zoomed out 100% /sadpanda fortunately I fly a drake so I don't have to manage much other than the overview anyway.
I've seen a number of worse bugs in prior games, and eve is an incredible game thus far, or I wouldn't have been this patient. Nevertheless it'd be nice to see my ship again.. Sometime.

Been on holidays for 4 days, was hoping for some resolution or announcement on this issue but nope.
About the correlation with moons, could this be related to the new brackets in space options? (moons were ofc broken in this patch and their icon is never visible in space unless you are on the same grid, any chance of fixing this as well CCP, quite a crucial issue for many players)

I have the same problem post-patch (didn't see this thread before!). I'm also occassionally getting "white-out" (skybox turns white, fps dives to 1-2 fps). I was previously at around 40 with 2 clients, now its 15 - 20.

I recently ordered a monitor for my monitor-less desktop. It was expensive.
Why? Because my laptop is too crappy to play eve.
And now I find that the comp that could play eve flawlessly before, is now reduced to yet another e-mail computer.

just postin in here to say i have the same fps issues as other posters since the last patch .. tried alot of different stuff but none of it has fixed my problem.
Also seem to have the weird thing of fps being absolutely terrible in most systems and then fine in some random systems (Aufay)

I'm sure the guys at CCP are doing their very best trying to fix this problem, it would be great for us tho to get an ETA or some confirmation that they know what's wrong with the client, so we won't have to check this thread every 12 hours to see what's new. just my thoughts
