Prior to this patch, while in space you could hold down ALT to have all moon icons appear. After 1.1, this no longer works. In fact, the moon icons have disappeared entirely for me.
Is there any way to bring the icons back and/or get the ALT key functioning the same as it did before 1.1?

Does ALT-Z actually work for you? I'm in game now and it won't make the moons appear for me.
To forestall any suggestions, I've checked my key bindings and they defaulted correctly.

Spend 5 minutes playing with the overview settings and you will get the moons back.
You can even set up a tab for moons only if thats what you fancy.

Yeah you can, but I want my damn moons showing up when I press Alt and also the box around the ship showing up when I press Alt and not having to click my ship to get it!

Also if you hover the mouse over any planet all moons show in the list =(

CCP WTB Alt key back, its more or less a required part of pvp.

Exactly, it's crucial to aligning to a moon correctly to probe it, particularly small moons.

Same here, the patch wasn't so bad until I saw this...
CCP, did you know that some planet had more than 20 moons ? The list is bigger than my screen, and the stargate is on top...

I noticed this in Test, and really didn't say anything other than "hmm, this sucks for scanning." I figured it was a bug and said nothing.
Now, logging into Tranquility to check the undock stuff and see if it's the same -- we get no moons showing via alt.
Is this intentional? I've yet to check alt+z, but with multiple people reporting that it doesn't work -- I'm viable to take their word for it.
In addition you no longer see the little "box" around your ship that you can use as a focal point for narrowing down small scans. Granted you can select your ship and get that box....but we're still looking at more penalties from alt not working.

I remember posting a thread a looooooooooooooong time ago about how CCP is breaking the directional scanner.
But ffs, this crosses the line. How the hell are you supposed to do anything fast anymore in this game?

Moon icons work for me. I think you are experiencing the new Overview Bracket feature that filters the icons you see in space. When you create overview settings and tabs now, you can also filter which icons show up in space to have a cleaner view.
If you make a new tab, right click it, change bracket settings > show all brackets, you should get moons and all the other icons in space. You can refine it further by making and loading custom bracket filters.

Im not as ****ed about the totally ******** way brackets work compared to before, but the fact that first they removed the center of the ship away from the center of the screen, and now they totally removed the box which shows the center of the ship.
Good luck finding anything on a 5 degree scan.
Unless i have missed something, a pattern is beginning to emerge. CCP just doesnt like people scanning down people in belts, eh? Yay..

I don't want more settings that I'm going to have to reset (like my overview) whenever my PC crashes and EVE 'loses' my prefs file. More crap that's client specific with no useful defaults (Overview defaults anyone.. bleh) is fail...
And I don't want all icons in space, like moons, I want them in space when I hit a key, not "find button > click > submenu a > submenu b > click."
