Want to get into 0.0 and don't know where to start? Come check out OUCH. I haven't regretted moving on from hi-sec and the same L4s. |

This sounds extremely intriguing. I'm pretty focused on pursuing a CovOps career at this point (with the long-term goal of working in BlackOps), but there seems to be no limit to things I don't know about EvE. I'm comfy traveling about in low-sec, haven't ventured into 0-sec yet.
Where do you expect aspiring members to move to, btw?

New members begin in a hisec system in the Derelik region until they've trained for the transition to nullsec. At that point they move into Curse. |

Very good... I presume I can leave my fleet parked in my current base? And whom do I contact for enrollment/recruitment?

You don't need to contact anyone, simply apply. Do an ingame search for Open University of Celestial Hardship (Corporation search), open the info window and click the Apply To Join button at the bottom while in any station. You can also join the chat channel OUCH-UNI and you'll see an info link in the MOTD.
During your student life you won't need anything except T1 frigates, modules and ammo. Which frigates and how they should be fit will be provided once you join.
Remember, if you have have roles with your current corp there's a 24-hour waiting period before your app can be accepted from the time you drop current roles. |

There are some people out there that think that because Eve Online is a game, it shouldn't be taken seriously.
However, your choices in Eve have consequences, and those consequences have an impact on your assets. Assets that you worked damn hard to build up. Assets worth millions, or hundreds of millions - even billions! You value these assets, and you would rather not lose them if you can help it. Your assets are a result of your significant investment of time and resources in this game, and you take that very seriously indeed.
It's all well and good for people to treat Eve as a game, as a joke, but they're usually the ones out there with few assets of their own, while trying to take your hard-earned assets away from you. Usually with extreme force. They have more experience at this than you have at avoiding or preventing them.
That, of course is where OUCH comes in. We understand how serious you are about your own personal investments of time and resources, and so we take our training very, very seriously.
Your time with OUCH is a continued investment into your survival, and the survival of your assets. We teach you:
- how to survive travelling in nullsec
- what dangers to look out for and avoid
- and how to fight
It's that 'how to fight' bit that's pretty important too. Not only do you want to protect your assets by being aware of the dangers out there when you're moving them around, but there will always come a time when you might have to fight to protect them.
OUCH will teach you how to setup combat ships, how to use them appropriately, how to work in fleets with corp-mates, and how to kick ass!
We take ass-kicking very seriously.
So if you're looking for an organisation who takes YOUR investments seriously, then consider joining OUCH today. |

In the old days we were all noobs and didn't really have any training program except "go into 0.0 and try to do stuff":
And this is what happens when you just go out there without a clue.
We're still mostly noobs, so how come our killboard now looks like this?
Because we now have a training program.
Join OUCH, and learn how to survive. |

When I first joined OUCH about a year ago, our motto was: "You're going to die. A lot. But along the way you'll learn how to die less."
Back then we basically just gave our fellow noobs some great forums full of useful information, and then told them to get out there and learn by dying in cheap ships.
We've come a long way since then. We now have formal training programs with top-notch trainers. We focus on small fleet PvP. We teach tactics on how to WIN engagements, rather than simply how to get away. We are now even offering advanced piloting courses for graduates who choose to stay in OUCH.
To reflect how far we have evolved, we've adopted a new motto: "Kill more, die less."
The new motto fits. Check our killboard. Talk with our respected adversaries in Curse. Join us.

OUCH takes nullsec skills seriously, not to suck the fun out of EVE but to show you the excitment EVE has to offer once you're squared away.
Since you are expected to attend training sessions, are restricted to what ships and fits you can fly, and where you can fly and when, it might not be for the casual arcade gamer. But, if you want to explore how adenalin addictive this game can be, it may very well be for you. |

All applications are usually processed within 24 hours by our dedicated senior team if not instantly.
So join OUCH now and start to kill more and die less.
