Hello there,
New to EVE although already managed to create my own corporation to be able to play with a few noob buddies of mine.
I am really interested in going through your courses and play some pvp with you guys, but I was wondering if I would need to leave my own clan first in order to do it? Can someone be in 2 clans? |

Many students leave their corps, complete our course and go back home to their old corps. Some make alts, join OUCH and do the training with them. Up to you really. We don't care if you, the player, are in two corporations, but you have to have one character in OUCH, capable of taking classes in high sec, in order to receive training.

Miss Teri is our top killer. (Check his killboard on Battleclinic and you'll get the idea.)
We hosted a noobship mayhem day. All noobships all the time, free fire on all your corp mates, lots o' mayhem, lots o' lolz.
What does Miss Teri do? He kills an Inquisitor with his noobship.
What an overachiever, Miss Teri.
Come join us. We'll introduce you to surviving and hunting in nullsec. |

I've been playing for a number of years. Spent a ton of time care-bearing. Not even realizing I fit that description - lol.
Run the spectrum of all non-pvp activity you can do in EVE - of course it was natural that eventually, I'd want to head full speed into pvp.
I ran with a few pirate corps and larger corps alliances for a bit - but never actually stopped to get some education per say until I came to ouch.
It's amazing how long you can play this game and not know something.
These guys know their stuff. The class structure is simple yet effective. I learned something I didn't know in every single class.
NOT because I was a noob, because that's not the case, but because I wasn't aware of all the tools available to me on the interface, on the maps, I failed to take the math into consideration or even to uise the solar system map effectively and to my benefit. I also didn't realize I had been book marking incorrectly (MAJOR difference).
Thus the EVE I was playing was far harder than it had to be - While my kill/loss ratio was good - I had to think back to previous losses that I realize just were not necessary.
Null sec travel and staying alive are amazingly easy now - bubbles? No problem. Seems there was alot even an experienced pilot could learn.
Incredibly enough I extracted a few tears along the way from real experienced PVP'ers who couldn't kill me during my time in Curse. They were yelling in local :) - They were pissed and I ended up winning EVE as a result.
Time well spent to say the least! |

There was a point in my eve life that i decided making isk is not enough, there was no fulfillment, i could buy anything sell it for more or less and not care. i immagined my pob full of isk bills (if that even exists) but it was not enough.....
THEN I FOUND OUCH! and was taken to a new level, something i havent learned NULL SEC SURVIVAL. i died plenty of times in the past, making dreds+in null is no easy job, but PVP was as foreign to me as Clog danceing.......
after the first few modules, and gate camps i was hooked. ITS A GREAT program. and a awesome group of people. if you wanna learn and learn the right way, join ouch.
it will melt your FACE! or something cool like that |

Do you guys have training sessions for Pacific Time Zone (-8 GMT)? I'm potentially interested, but your OP indicates training sessions start around 18:00 server (0 GMT I think?) and its not gonna work out with my current job.
Still, you guys seem like a good fit for a newbie wanting to step into the 0.0 arena |

Training sessions are periodically offered at other times that may be more fitting to your schedule. We also have several trainers who are willing to take on special sessions by request, and there is a specific thread on the forums to request such.
Bottom-line is that -- if you are patient and considerate to the training staff -- you will almost certainly be able to find opportunities to complete the training.
Our trainers do what they do as a volunteer service to the EVE community. Training modules average around three hours each, and our trainers receive no pay for giving their time. They do it because they enjoy opening up nullsec to both new and old players.
Join the corp. Get to know our trainers and treat them well. Be patient and considerate of the volunteer nature of our organization. You will certainly find means to get through the sessions. And between sessions, you are free to continue whatever hisec PvE activities you currently enjoy. |

The bright side of the bubble is the side on which Adeptus' torpedos are slamming into some pilot who flew into our bubble because he never joined OUCH to learn how to avoid them. Join OUCH. Avoid the bright side.

So you've just trained up to good BS skills, done some empire/low sec roams in decent sized fleets, even done a jump into null sec here and there. Now you want to go null sec pvp with another corp? Well, chances are you will end up on the wrong side of a kill mail really fast. Curse region for example, is dangerous, nasty and full of people who want nothing more than to kill your ship and pod. You might be thinking "Ah, I fly in decent sized fleets so I can sit back and let the FC do everything." Well, Curse (or most of null sec) doesn't work like that. Want to grab a faction ship with officer mods and take a solo player on? Guess what ? Chances are that the solo player isn't solo- just waiting for someone like you to come along.
You have to learn how to travel around in null and also how to use your head in everything you do. OUCH will teach you that. If you can learn in Curse how to live, work and travel, then you can live anywhere, it's really that simple. New player or vet, doesn't matter- give them a try and learn valuable skills. -áThe Sideburns- Always Outnumbered- Never Outgunned. Manchester United - Paul Scholes= Genius |

I tell my guys when they come into A4D that perception is ninety percent of the game. Whether in game or in life, its the same. You can be the best wire twister in the world and never be called an electrician, but you suck one d1(k and your a c0(k sucker the rest of your life.
The same goes in this game. If you try 0.0 with a corp that is not prepared for whats coming, then you are going to be an easy target. If you are trained the wrong way , then you will be considered an idiot. This game is rough on beginners, there isn't a easy way to learn it. OUCH creates a friendly environment to get your education.
Curse is a ****** place to start, its full of vile human beings. Don't let your first experience in curse be like this guys. http://www.killsometime.com/videos/3737/Bug-Flies-in-Reporters-Mouth. oh yea, and could you put this blindfold on for me, and let me rub this around your lips while i take pictures? WHAT?!!! too soon? LMAO . what if i take off the fleshy nipple? Come to curse I dare you.

Losing 300 million isk in implants when your pod gets popped in a bubble can cause you to yell at your kids.
Yelling at your kids can cause your daughter to become withdrawn and depressed.
Being withdrawn and depressed can cause her to develop "daddy" issues and start dressing in black funeral clothes.
Having daddy issues can cause her to run away from home and become a stripper.

I too am Pacific Time zone -8 GMT.
I know EVE time can be confusing at times, But 18:00 -8 =10:00 or 10am.
I am an Instructor in OUCH and I have Taught on Weekends at 19:00 eve time which is currently 11am PST in the Winter and during Daylight savings is 12:00pm or noon PST.
But if that still isn't an acceptable time we Offer Wednesday and Thursday classes at 01:00 EVE Time which for you is currently 6pm PST in the winter and 7pm PST during Daylight savings Time.
Now if this still isn't acceptable times we have a forum thread to post for One Offs for special needs because some one has RL issues that prevent them from attending regular scheduled classes.
Now if all the above still doesn't work for your time zone which is also my time zone then have a nice day and fly safe. |

If you join ouch, you'll get a smile on your face whenever you see a bubble. To join OUCH you don't need any of those.
You won't earn much isk in ouch, skills won't magically hop for 50mil skill points either, but we will give you lots of fun, while trainining you to survive in nullsec. You'll learn all the technical info you need to know, do lots of practical training exercises in high sec, move to nullsec and learn how to survive and fight in one of the most harsh regions in eve. All while supervised and advised by experienced trainers.
